"Lately the meta and Evelynn place in it has been changing weekly and its becoming hard to keep in touch and adjust. Ive been trying different build paths, including full AP, full AD and whatnot, but im never satisfied. Playing as fighter or off-tank, the damage becomes too low, if i focus on damage,"

The reasons why players switched from hybrid to ap off tank are numerous, ill try give you the most significant.
First(not in importance) is the nerfs that was made to the hybrid build. The old "Magus" AP jungle item got removed, which was the main pick for hybrids"
