"maokai can solo top, support, jungle, and ap carry. he can do ANYTHING except ad carry, and the only thing o those three that isnt "amazing" is the AP mid. Great tanky addition to any team, and his damage is consistent through the whole game. He has been my main for EVER."

"Yeah, its a strategy that works if you have a fed to hell nuke, like fizz or tryndamere. If you see a Mord starting to build straight armor, forget he even exists. Focus EVERYTHING on the other more deepsy characters to make sure they dont get fed, and mord stays useless."

"What he was probably doing was building enough armor to survive the teamfights, so that when someone on your team died, he would ult them, and then they would come back and fight for his team. Turns a 3v3 into a 2v4. Ive seen mords do this, and its cheap as hell and really irritating."

"Sustained DPS characters cant fight him unless they kite the shit out of him, he really requires a nuke to kill 1v1, and even then, it has to be AWAY from any creeps he can gen a shield off of."
