It's hard finding a balance between damage and survivability with the build. I haven't tried building him PURE damage, but I'm thinking that black cleaver, berzerker's greaves"

I always though she was kind of boring and the fact that she has her ranged attack on toggle is just kind of annoying. Also, I wonder if Tiamat would be viable on Kayle, I mean it basically makes it so"

Unless you have a lich bane, his auto attack is pretty much useless and AP Yi scales poorly into late game. It works well in early/mid game, but after that, AD Yi is much, much better.
