"draven is very hard for beginnes. I would not recommend him if you don't have any experience with ADCs in general.
varus is okay-ish. He is very immobile though as he has no bult-in gap-closer. You can get him if you like him a lot but it might take you some time until you succeed.

That's actually why immobile marksmen are not played that much in the competetive scene as they seem quite "risky" picks. Only exception is kog'maw but his damage is one million better than ashe's. "
