"Bloodthirster on Vi late game? bad idea, and it's a very common mistake.
Of course Vi is an AD champion, and when people see AD, they think "ehi, I should take a BT!". But why should you buy a BT, when you're better off with a Ravenous Hydra? (especially late game)
