You aren't going to win your lane, however; you shouldn't even be laning against an Akali.
Learn to last hit under your turret and you'll be a bit safer.

The series, How To Top Lane(pretty sure the channel it's on is HTTL but I may be wrong) on Youtube/Champselect.net is really helpful as well.
