"If the person with the higher elo (Nick, in this example) would be the better AD Carry, he'd play it :P He also picked Thresh quite often simply because he wanted to play it and he enjoys supporting with him, I never forced him into supporting for me every game.

"In general I'd say so, yes. It's almost 500 gold cheaper and gives you more survivability (keep in mind that's what we're buying it for, I didn't need any more damage items because I was dealing plenty).
In this game, Frozen Mallet would've probably also been a good choice to kite Wukong "
