If you play him solo top, when buy Dorans Shield you have more HP than some1 started with Ruby Crystal. So I can tell that Jax isn't squishy at all. One more thing to say - in"

BUT, I don't agree with this runes. Critical damage is good, but in early game u don't do so many Crits so u can use it well. In late game Crit DMG is getting absolutely useless.
So, I think for runes choice, better is:
9x Greater Seal of Alacrity"
