all I can say is, practice...and in solo you generally want to play carries and offtanks, that is how you can carry yourself out of lower Elo, even if your teammates aren't that great...

"Yea, she has no reliable CC, only a small AoE slow before 6 that can be dodged not too difficultly...same with ult; you need someone with DEFINITE CC that CANNOT be dodged to jungle and gank well."
