I like your idea of Impale as a normal ability, so that could be where that skill that heals him is, and in turn of his ult, he could have some sort of gap closer or some sort of "burrow" which isn't "

That was a big problem with EU before the split, when we had huge ass queues. Used to be any random time though, not just after games, you could just log in then get the error, and Riot didn't do anything about it."
