"While this is true, it takes time. The ping lowers that time and lets you react much faster. That split second of the ping compared to clicking and looking for items could be the death of you or a teamate.

The lowering of the gold to feeders hurts just as much to. Its almost like they are allowing people to feed and not give the other team a reason to care about the feeder...Yay Tryn feeding and then smashing face faster!"
