The reasoning behind inspiration is mainly due to its high gold value on a champ that relies so heavily on getting a gold lead. However, there are definitely other great alternatives. It all depends on your playstyle and preference."

Without it, you're going to struggle to win early skirmishes against junglers who do run it. Further, you always want red smite in soloq"

However, keep in mind my definition of high elo is d1/master+, where the vast majority of players only play the most optimal builds and champs. He's certainly playable in lane in norms / lower elo, which is why I keep this guide up."
