Views: 1018 Trying to Learn Roles Not Named "Support"...
|
Some of statistics about me:
It's no surprise that I suck at anything not named 'support' or '
Zyra'. In fact, I am ranked as Trash 87 on Top, Junk 51 on Jungle, Mud 74 on Mid (except
Zyra), and Asphalt 62 on AD Carry. My
Dr. Mundo is infamous among my friends for feeding every game, and on these roles, I am worse than many Pre-30 Players.
I can definitely learn something by playing with MOBAFire people. Currently, my goal is to learn high-skill-cap champions such as
Lee Sin or
Zed. I would be glad if I can play with one of you guys.
Tell me if you are interested to play with me and become my teacher/LoLBuddy...
- I am Gold V.
- I have only 30 Champions.
- I have played only 15 different Champions in Ranked Game.
- I won Ranked Games with only 10 Champions.
Zyra constitutes 170 Wins out of 274 Total Ranked Wins that I have. Moreover, 256 Wins out of my 274 Ranked Wins are solely composed of
Zyra,
Sona, and
Lulu.
- I have never played (YES, like NEVER)
Teemo,
Master Yi, and
Garen - three of the beginner champions. Again, I never played them... like ever. This three is out of my many unplayed champions.

I'd suggest you try out
Yay XD
I find jumping from support to other roles pretty easy once you get the last hitting (unless jungle) and match-ups down :) If you want to start playing another role just do it. If you're scared you'll get roflstomped and flamed at, well, yeah, you're probably gonna get roflstomped and flamed at at least a few times but meh you learn more from losing than from winning anyway ^_^
this.
Jungling usually needs a bit of practice (to know how to move around the map most effecitvely) but in the end it's a quite easy role.
Some good "support" jungles;
Then work on laning when you get the hang of not babysitting a derp (ADC) in lane for the first 20 minutes of the game. Wait... you get to babysit 3 derps now... Hmm.
Especially solo lanes, where you have to keep the balance between harrass and farm while keeping an eye on the map and map awareness.
A big problem for me was the farm, my farming mechanics are horrible so what I main is Jungle and Support.
Being Jungle gives you alot of map presence and map awereness, which helps you with your supporting aswell. Also, there is no need to keep up with farm like ADC/Mid/Top, since Junglers usually do not need as much gold.
Problem about Jungling is just the different view of opportunities etc.
Your lanes may call you for a gank, while you as a jungler do not see any possibility there. Jungling can be easy, but to really jungle also means to have knowledge of your enemy jungler and keep him down as much as possible.
Lee Sin is as you said a good choice. Can't help you tho xD
