I used to build only Lucidity boots because Zilean's most important stat is Ability Haste, but browsing through a few other top Zil players I found a guy using SS's and gave it a try. Haven't gone back. I average 3 vision score "

Posted a Comment: "I'm trialling it here and there when I get decent matchups. I've played in Diamond elo with it and it performed fine. Probably not the absolute best page but I make it work. I basically take all of the Runes that are cost saving for me like Magical Footwear in Inspiration to save 300g on boots and T"

Posted a Comment: "For the runes I think there's better choices. Zilean has loads of built in speed already especially if you're building Shurelya's. Try Symbiotic soles instead. 3 speeds are only good in certain match ups and even then I don't build them. Otherwise ok. "

Posted a Comment: "As a fellow Zilean enjoyer, the electrocute build is ok for something different every now and then, but it's definitely not the most optimal way to play the champ. It does help a little with the early trading/game (Zileans weakest point in the game) because it's unexpected damage, but it's less usef"

Generally if I am the only AP on the team I will consider it but it will depend on whether I think the AP damage will genuinely help that pa"

The healing factor isn’t typically the selling point for his ult and it’s not making it significantly or guaranteeing it will make someone survive. Zilean’s ult cooldown can get dow"
