Introduction




Hello Everybody! Iam Spiked Angel and this is my guide about Ziggs.

Ziggs is a mad champion with awesome abilities. One ability has great damage and little CD, second one is great for escaping, third has slowing effect and ultimate has awesome range. In one word, Ziggs is UNBELIEVABLE!!!

This guide will be continously edited, so dont vote bad for that this guide is not final version.

Items

Starting Items

Boots of Speed: You will need this, in the start without minions you have to escape without Satchel Charge, so movement speed is useful.
Health Potion: If you have this, you dont have to recall every time you have low hp.
Mana Potion: Same as health potion. Ziggs with Bouncing Bomb can drain mana quickly.

Early Game

Mejai's Soulstealer: Not very known item, but very, very usefull for Ziggs. Every kill you gain 16(!)ability power. Every assist you gain 8 ability power (for detailists, every stack is 8 ability power. Max. 20 stacks. At 20 stacks you gain 15%cooldown reduction. Every death you lose third of your stacks.)
Sorcerer's Shoes: Magic penetration is useful and enchanced movemet dor better escaping. Beautiful!
Rod of Ages: I will do mention for this item, because Mejai's Soulstealer is for game, where you have some enemies, which you can kill easy. So if you have hard enemy, take this rather then Mejai's Soulstealer

Mid Game

Rylai's Crystal Scepter: Hexplosive Minefield will slow more with this and it grants great health.
Soul Shroud: Will eliminate your mana drain. If you have another mage in your team, he will thank you.

Late Game and the End

Rabadon's Deathcap: Some guys think, that most important is that 140 bonus ability power. But more important is the passive: 20% bonus ability power. When you have greatly stacked Mejai's Soulstealer, you are UNSTOPABLE!!!

Lich Bane: Passive of this item will be great partner with your passive. If you will wait witch your Short Fuse empowered basic attack and stack it with lich banes passive, it will be great demolition!

Short Fuse is great basic-attack-empower passive. Try to use this on champions, dont waste it on minions (if there is not a champion, use it)

Bouncing Bomb is base of ziggs's attack. It has low CD on lvl 5 and with great bonus ability power, very great dmg. It has awesome range, because if you throw it in the and of the "range circle" ,it will bounce another lenght. If you want to hit champion, find place without minions, where bomb can bounce over. Max it first.

Satchel Charge is great for escaping. If you go near it, you will get great airborne, but no dmg. Enemies will take airborne and dmg. You can use it for escaping, or to knock anemies to your turret. Max it last.

Hexplosive Minefield is very powerful minion killer and slower, if enemies are scared of you and run away. It will be very important in team fights on mid, so max it second.

Mega Inferno Bomb is one of best kill steal abilities in the game. Its like Gangplank´s Cannon Barrage, but much better. It is great AOE damage, which has great chance for double kill! :)

Killsteal (for trollers only)

Classic killsteal

It is simple, only throw Mega Inferno Bomb to place, where is a low hp enemy.

Specific champions killsteal


Jarvan IV and his Cataclysm. Jarvan attacks an enemy, you only wait for low hp... than simple throw bouncing bomb and Jarvan will hate you! :D
Darius: When there is low hp enemy near darius, he will surly use his Noxian Guillotine. If you will throw bouncing bomb quickly, you will sure have a kill.
Xin Zhao: If that guy who play as xin is a noob, he will use his Crescent Sweep without his passive, so it wil knock him back and you will simple kill him. If isnt, it is the same like with Darius. Its only on your quickness.
Jax: His Leap Strike is one of best hunting abilities ever. There is more probability that HE will still you kill, not YOU his. But there is classic killsteal and my favorite word on him. REVENGE!!! Steal his kill with Mega Inferno Bomb

Monster Steal


Baron Nashor Place ward, wait for great moment, when baron has low hp, fire Mega Inferno Bomb and laught how enemies are trolled!
Other Monsters: Place ward, and the same procedure, but Bouncing Bomb will suffice.

Summoner Spells

Recommended Spells

I love Exhaust, because it is all-round spell. You can use it for escape, for advantage in battle, or when enemy wants to escape.I use Flash when exhaust fail.

Alternative Spells

Clarity is like mana potion in starting game. With this you can regen your mana, so you dont have to recall often.
Ignite. Sometimes happens that enemies have less then 100 hp, but they have more movement speed than you, so you cant kill them with basic attack. Ignite is best for this! It takes some time, but you will surly kill.
Heal is same like clarity, but regens heal (logically)

Inappropiate Spells

Promote is mainly for minion kills, but you have one great minion killer, Hexplosive Minefield, so you dont need this.
Revive is spell for impatients. I think this is most useless summoner spell.
Smite is for junglers and believe me, ziggs is NOT a jungler.

Champions, easy or unkillable?

This chapter will be about Ziggs opponents. I will say you, which are easy and which are hard enemies. Here we go guys!

Easy Opponents

Ahri: in the beggining, you will slay her like a boss. Your Bouncing Bomb will be more powerful againts her Orb of Deception or Charm.
Alistar: Only thing you need to beware is his WQ combo. Then you will slow him wtih Hexplosive Minefield, throw some Bouncing Bombs and he is dead :)
Amumu: One word. Despair. Only thing that can realy pwn you. If he is greatly feeded, he will be the bad opponent
Annie: She has something like ziggs Bouncing Bomb, Disintegrate. But another abilities are sometimes hard to hit, so you will pwn her with your Hexplosive Minefield and Mega Inferno Bomb.
Cho'Gath: try tu run out his Rupture. Then you have won this battle.
Darius: have no chance without Ziggs. He will pwn him from great range and darius will dont know what is happening with him.
Diana: Never feed her!! With big ability power she is unkillable. Her Crescent Strike is only her ranged ability (ulti is like teleport)
Dr. Mundo: His Infected Cleaver hit minions too. If you will be behind minions and will hit him with Bouncing Bomb, he will have no chance.
Evelynn: after her was nerfed, she is not a great champion. His invicibility is for nothing... she has low-CD-attack, which dont dmg so much.
Ezreal: Only his Arcane Shift can save him. Maybe he can get some kills from killsteals with his Trueshot Barrage.
Galio: Idol of Durand is great ability, he can do great ganks. But thats all i think.
Garen: DEMACIA!!! Only slow him, give him some Bouncing Bombs and if he will run, give him Mega Inferno Bomb...
Gragas: My computer sometimes laggs, so i cant se how he throws his Barrel Roll. Its not so powerful, Bouncing Bomb is much better.
Hecarim: Onslaught of Shadows is very, very powerful ability. And his passive is too very great. But how i say this everytime, some bombs and he is dead.
Janna: She is great support, but bad fighter... you will pwn her in 5 seconds.
Jax: Only beware of his Leap Strike. If he use it, slow him with Hexplosive Minefield and slay him with Bouncing Bomb.
Karthus: Requiem is king steal ability. Passive is too great. I dont like Lay Waste, because it dont deal so much damage(yes, it has low CD, but i like more abilities with more damage then low CD.) So only dont feed him, then it wil be easy.
Kassadin: Ill say something now. I hate every melee mage. Better are classic ranged mages like Ryze or like Ziggs. So, its hard to masterize Kassadin. Only beware of his Force Pulse, but he needs to charge it...
Kayle: She is half ranged, half melee champion. But the only ability which is great on kayle is righterous fury. Nothing else.
Kog'Maw: I like his ulti, Living Artillery. He has great abilities, but its hard to mastery him. Only extraordinarily you will meet a great Kog'Maw player.
Leona: I like her, but she has no chance withou champions like Darius, Xin Zhao or Draven. Ziggs will pwn her.
Lulu: If you want to know my opinion, she is unnecessary champion. I hate her and his abilities. She has no chance no chance withou hexplosives!!!
