*- Introduction
Hello, Guys!
This is RzzK and this is my first Mobafire build. I hope you like it, and, fyi, I'll be soon uploading my Brand, Riven, and maybe some other champion, personal builds. Feel free to give Feedback, opinions, etc. Let's avoid flaming, and be all friends, I know you peeps like it this way ;D
NOTE: Recently changed the Build's Name. Ex-NAME: "Speed'Lon - Mid, Top & Jungle Guide". New-NAME: "Talon - The Perfect Nemesis".
any good talon guide ? google mobafire solomid clg ranked talon best build talon guide mobafire google

#1 First Build
-> Mid lane. Based on silence and harrassing.

#2 Second Build
-> Top lane. Resistance and farming.

#3 Third Build
-> Jungle build. Jungle skills, items and masteries.

#4 Fourth Build
-> Noxian Diplomacy based. *NEW*
#1 Mid!: Why ? The silence is the best counter for a mid champion. Slow, Silence, Stealth and Good damage output, makes this guy a great counter for most mid champions. Though, he of course, can get countered by too many Crowd Controls.
He's one good point in this line.
90 % / 10 %
#2 Solo Top!: Why ? Even though most of the tanks going there have a good advantage over him, if you know how to move, you can get through that, kill them with the help of your jungle, and counter their hardiness. It's not Talon's strong lane, although he can do very, very good here.
65 % / 35 %
#3 Jungle!: Why ? He's got some freaking good ganks, not to talk about that Red Buff, wich provides an EVEN greater slow. Stealth, speed, CC and good damage output, almost all you want for a jungle. There's a big problem though, he's too squishy, and I mean it. So squishy you can die in the jungle, if you don't know how to handle him. If you want some tips, keep reading this guide, and you'll see you can do VERY good with him as a jungler. Good ganks, poor sustain jungle.

Why to play him ? Pros |
Talon is a very good ganker, his
Rake has some good Slow, his Cutthroat silences, wich can provide a good teamfight engage, or a nicely done gank.
- He's got a great ability of killing squishies, using his ultimate, and specially his Cutthroat, to avoid them from using any heals, or abilities to escape.
- A quite nice mobility, specially with this build.
- Also a good anti-ranged fellow.
- Nice cooldowns.
.............. |
![]() |
.... |
What to be careful with ? Cons |
- He's very squishy, at least before getting your
Bloodthirster.
- Quite item reliant. Without some kills, or good farm, you're worthless.
- If not used correctly, he's a squishy jungle.
- Often suffers mana problems.

Playing with Talon ... Countering |
Talon has some good weapons, one of them being his silence. Versus mages, it's lethal, remember that.
- Squishy heroes, or heroes with a lot of skillshot abilities also have a very HARD time against Talon.
- Slow heroes will also suffer against Talon's great speed, specially with this build.

Playing against Talon ... Counterpicks |
Talon is quite squishy, even with his
Bloodthirster.
- Too many CCs, or Stealth Sight, may cause Talon some problems, some big problems.
- Tanky champions, specially Armor Resistance ones will give him a bad time, mostly solotop.

TALONThe blade's shadow![]() |
space |
Talon's earliest memories are the darkness of Noxus' underground passages and the reassuring steel of a blade. He remembers no family, warmth, or kindness. Instead, the clink of stolen gold and the security of a wall at his back are all the kinship he has ever craved. Kept alive only by his quick wits and deft thievery, Talon scraped out a living in the seedy underbelly of Noxus. His mastery of the blade quickly marked him as a threat, and Noxian guilds sent assassins to him with a demand: join their ranks or be killed. He left the bodies of his pursuers dumped in Noxus' moat as his response. The assassination attempts grew increasingly dangerous until one assailant met Talon blade-for-blade in a match of strength. To his surprise, Talon was disarmed and facing down his executioner's sword when the assassin revealed himself to be General Du Couteau. The General offered Talon the choice between death at his hand, or life as an agent of the Noxian High Command. Talon chose life, on the condition that his service was to Du Couteau alone, for the only type of orders he could respect were from one he could not defeat. Talon remained in the shadows, carrying out secret missions on Du Couteau's orders that took him from the frigid lands of Freljord to the inner sanctums of Bandle City. When the general vanished, Talon considered reclaiming his freedom, but he had gained immense respect for Du Couteau after years in his service. He became obsessed with tracking down the general's whereabouts. Talon's suspicions led him to the doors of the Institute of War, where he joined the League of Legends in order to find those responsible for Du Couteau's disappearance. ''The three deadliest blademasters in all of Valoran are bound to the house of Du Couteau: my father, myself, and Talon. Challenge us, if you dare.'' - Katarina Du Couteau |

Deadliness , even more AD, hurray!
Lethality improves those critical hits.

Executioner . The name says it itself. Perfect for killing low life people!
-
Summoner's Insight lowers the CD of our Flash, wich helps us escape.
-
Expanded Mind feeds us with some mana, wich is greatly needed.
-
Swiftness . Fast! Our point, being as fast as we can, to chase, harras and laugh at them.

Bladed Armor helps you kill the jungle faster, at least very early game. Very helpful.

Mid

Why maximize

Easy, better farm, and better harrass. Level 1, 2, 3 do not deal that much damage, but when you get to the high levels, you'll see the BIG difference. They'll start avoiding it like hell.

SoloTop

Why ?
Easy, too! Your point in top lane is to lasthit, even more than in mid. You have to let your jungle have his way to the other champion. Besides that, it provides some extra damage for too "Aggresive" enemies. The rest is juuuuust the same!

sp | Just like the previous ones, though this boots focus more on melee fighters. Take them when they are a problem. | sp |
![]() |

So, let's start with Maths.
Let's think this way:
- Level 18.
- Items:
Ionian Boots of Lucidity,
The Brutalizer,
Bloodthirster.
Our stats should be something like this:
- Health: 1970 HP
- Crit Chance: 0%
- Attack Damage (With the mentioned items): 202,8 AD (105,8 + 25 + 60).
If we'd get another

- Health: 1970 HP
- Crit Chance: 0%
- Attack Damage (With the mentioned items): 262,8 AD (105,8 + 25 + 60 + 60)
- Our autoattacks should do about: 230 ~ 290.
- Our noxian diplomacy would do: 228, 84 (150 + 78, 4).
- Our critical strike would do: 460 ~ 560.
- Adding all that together: 250 + 228, 84 = 478 , 84. If we get a critical: 478, 84 * 2 = 975, 68 damage.
Now, let's get an

- Health: 1970 HP
- Crit Chance: 30%
- Attack Damage (With the mentioned items): 282,8 AD (105,8 + 25 + 60 + 80)
- Our autoattacks should do about: 250 ~ 310.
- Our noxian diplomacy would do: 234, 84 (150 + 84, 4).
- Our critical strike would do: 650 ~ 750.
- Adding all that together: 280 + 234, 84 = 514 , 84. If we get a critical: 514 , 84 * 2,5 = 1287,1 damage.
- We'd only have 30 % Critical Chance, so that means, out of 10 Autoattacks, we'd get 3 criticals.
Now, let's go with

- Health: 1970 HP
- Crit Chance: 15%
- Attack Damage (With the mentioned items): 232,8 AD (105,8 + 25 + 60 + 30)
- Our autoattacks should do about: 200 ~ 260.
- Our noxian diplomacy would do: 219, 84 (150 + 69, 84).
- Our critical strike would do: 460.
- Trinity Force's passive: 105,8 * 1,5 = 158,7 EXTRA damage.
- Adding all that together: 230 + 219, 84 + 158,7 = 611,34 Each time we use ND.
- Now, if we'd be lucky, and got a Critical Strike: 799 * 2 = 1222,68.
Now, let's compare 10 Autoattacks, with these conditions. Since We've got extra AS with

With

- Base attack speed (0,668) * 18 Levels = 0,98 AS At level 18, we'll take that as one attack per second.
With

- Base attack speed (0,668) * 18 Levels = 0,98 AS At level 18.
- 0,98 * 30% from
Trinity Force = 1,3 AS at level 18.
So .. If we'll meassure 10 seconds, we'd get these autoattacks, after the first, starting hits:

There's something to mention, too:
- You could use Noxian Diplomacy each 3 seconds (Applying the cooldown reduction).
So, again, let's start:
1 S e c o n d s - 2 S e c o n d s - 3 S e c o n d s - 4 S e c o n d s - 5 S e c o n d s - 6 S e c o n d s - 7 S e c o n d s - 8 S e c o n d s - 9 S e c o n d s - 10 S e c o n d s - |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Summing all that together, would end in:
Infinity Edge: Autoattacks (1960) + Autoattacks with ND (1029,68) + Criticals (1987,01) = 4976,69 Damage, over 10 seconds.
Trinity Force: Autoattacks (2300) + Autoattacks with ND (1222,68) + Criticals (1682,68) = 5205,36
Trinity Force wins, again. But we can get EVEN more far:
Add the slowTrinity Force gives, wich means 10 % more damage. (5205,36 * 1,10). We'd get a total of 5725,9 Damage, over 10 Seconds.
Now add the value of the Health it gives, the MS for chasing and escaping.
...
The title says it, what is he, really ? .. Burst damage, assasin, roamer ? .. What else ? .. Good vs Ranged Carries, Epic in mid lane, squishy jungle.. Anything else ? ..
Yes.
Over all of that, he's a champion, and his use is to win a match. Forget what Riot says, Assassin or not, builds are viable, if they work.
I'm telling this for one simple reason, flamers.
When people see

ATMOG

I am aware that this combo may make you loose some damage, but it will give you enough sustain to do a lot of things more, like chase for a longer time, escaping, etc.
Hurray for
