Except for, you know, them not being able to hurt anything.
Unless you get the right IV's the Hidden Power type probably would be redundant if you were to go for more type coverage anyways. Also your EV's have probably been spread all over the place if you're just killing anything you're coming across in the game, so much so that your Nature won't affect much at that point. But Sableye does have a decent movepool, I guess it could work if you could stand grinding on the same pokemon for many hours.
What version are you playing, Trojan?

Look at this list. Now go catch all those top pokemon and go become the master!

@B-Wong
Fun to see someone else who got into the complicated workings of pokemon. I was gonna get all serious in my emulator, but then I got tired of not being able to kill what I wanted all the time >.>
Btw; I used a cheat to make all my IVs be at max levels. I just hate the random element to these kinds of things..

I'm playing sapphire right now because I haven't played that game in forever. I'm running a team comp of:
Sceptile
Beautifly
Breloom
Mightyena
Ludicolo
Peliper
That's mostly because I want to play the game on hard mode, and since there's no hard mode setting I caught the first 6 pokemon I saw.
When I legitimately play on my platinum version, I usually run a team comp revolving entirely around my Walrein. But I pretty much quit once I realized there was strategy past "load your 4 strongest moves onto your 6 best pokemon and EV train their best stats".
Oh, and I would have a ralts IF MY WURMPLE DIDN'T CRITICAL HIT
and I might've had the second ralts I saw IF MY POOCHEYANA DIDN'T CRITICAL HIT
********, I swear they knew they were getting replaced if I caught that thing.

Hard mode? Play with a total of 3 pokemon. :D
P.S. Yes, I used to play competetive pogeymanz. Although I quit, I still retain information.

Haha, epic stuff. That's apparently the origin of the name.
"Blizzard spoke thus; Thou shalt not BM. And the players replied Nay, I shall Play my hand with Lethal already on the board. And so Blizzard sent unto them this Brawl of Yogg, As a lesson for their sins of Pride and Greed, for he is the Prophet of Madness and RNG. On that day, the tavern descended into an era of chaos and darkness, until the weekend passed and everyone forgot all about it. Amen. Book of SMOrc, Verse 20, Chapter 4." - Feam T

I'm really a fan of early game champions
I like to force the 20-minute surrender
My tactics aren't applying so well to pokemon.
