In the end the main difference is who you will work with up until claw island. the only other difference is that each faction has a unique set of weapons and armor that can only be accessed if you are in that faction. i would not say that any is easier or harder than the other in general, but i will say that some classes fit the missions of a given faction better than others...squishy classes should probably avoid the vigil. [/spoiler] i'm in guys, though i will likely be representing a different guild most of the time. if you want me to help with anything i would be more than happy to. i have 8 level 80 characters. 1 for each class; however, i only feel comfortable enough to pvp at a high level with thief (main), ele, and engi so i would feel most comfortable with helping you with those classes. guard and ranger i am decent with. ranger and necro i am passable with. warrior i suck with. mes i just made.[/quote]
