AHQ remind me of AHQ from season 4.
I know Westdoor got into worlds, I remember him being the "Fizz pro"
I think the team crashed and burned in groups though.

Basically MOBAFire.

I don't know. SKT looks like the clear favorites to me right now, especially with their dominant performance over EDG. Yes, it was only one game. Yes, EDG could probably do better in a best of 5. But once again, they wanted to go late with 1 hypercarry as their only threat. SKT picked up the stronger midgame with Rumble and Kalista, showing their biggest strength.

The rest of the games were all entertaining, especially Fnatic destroying TSM. But then they crashed vs AHQ. I think, that AHQ will make it past groups. They only lost vs EDG, which wasn't completely unexpected but did well against Fnatic.

And as usual, the wildcard won't pick up a single win until their last game and then ruin any potential hope of getting out of groups for one team.

The funny part about Fnatic beating TSM is that Fnatic won't eve make it passed groups. xD

Ok im not even sure if tsm makes it out of groups now...

What happens if tsm, ahq and fnc all end 2-2?

Edit: TSM is exposed and there is an easy trat to win vs tsm. Ban out dyrus three safe top laner's camp him since saintorin never goes top or ganks for him dyurs feeders 1v2 gg.

Finishing 2-2 isn't a possibility, I predict that TSM finishes 3-2. And, to be fair to TSM they want Dyrus to get 2v1ed. They sadly just got outplayed where they want to win, mid and bot. The reason they want Dyrus to be the focus is because the top lane is the most isolated lane in the game, and makes it really hard to react to big plays.

Looking at day 2 schedule, AHQ has a huge chance of making it past groups. They got 2 games to play, one vs TSM and then rounding up the day playing vs SKT. Unless TSM shock us by beating AHQ, or AHQ pulls off a crazy upset against SKT, they'll end with a 3:2 record.

Fnatic has it rough. They play EDG AND SKT. Their expected record would be 2:3, with the chance of them making it past groups without having to battle it out in a tiebreaker. TSM is 1:2 and they play AHQ and EDG. Both teams should defeat them, AHQ looking like a team that should win vs TSM, and EDG shouldn't lose either unless they crash after having that horrible defeat yesterday.

BJK will go 0:5, sadly, but their 4 man gank on Faker already places them a lot higher for me. Faker couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift than that. What better way to celebrate than getting 4 man ganked at lv 1/2? But seriously, those wildcard teams keep improving and they all have the raw talent to be good.

I'm actually surprised TSM is the more likely of the two western team to not make it. They had their best split ever, compared to Fnatic who had a bit of a rocky regular season. They should be the better team on paper. They finished 1st both in regular and playoffs. They had an IEM win under their belt. They are all skilled players. But Fnatic simply looks like they will make it past groups, leaving TSM behind with BJK.

On talk about EDG, they keep doing this awkward stuff and a lacking playstyle. They style on teams. They **** up their pick & bans. During the LPL regular they were by far the best team. M3 was far from a top team, but they nearly threw one game against them, even though they could have finished it smoothly. Game 5 vs LGD. Nearly lost it because they rely so heavily on getting to late where they excel. I don't know, but it will come to bite them eventually and if they keep doing it they will probably not have a nice finals. Oh sure, they are more than likely to meet SKT in the finals, but I doubt it will be any nice for EDG. Also, I hope that Fnatic can actually beat them. Mostly because it would expose EDG even more and because I want EU to finally prove themselves. Last time EU placed high during an international tournament was the last IEM Katowice.

BTW: If TSM doesn't win both games today, they should be out already, as long as Fnatic beats BjK.

How so? If fnatic lose two of three games today they will tie if tsm win one game and considering they play skt1 and edg its likely.

Not sure how a tie works because we could have a few does fnatic auto win since they won the match earlier.

That is what I expect, in a tie the direct matchup decides the one who goes on. Either that or we will see another game.
