There is a button when you view your guide that should either say "view published" or "view revision" like this one:
If that doesn't help it's possibly because at the current moment, guides aren't working as they should (don't know why and it's being fixed by developers) but I think it has to do with the new Mobafire website format.

I know that there are these two buttons, but that's the problem. When I'm clicking on "view revision" then my changes are applied, but that's still only for the author and when clicking on "view published" then these changes weren't applied.

If you are saving the changes and then publishing again that's all you need to do. If it isn't working then it is highly likely due to the current issues with guides updating like MrMad said. Don't worry about it though I'm sure it will be fixed soon :)
Something else I've just realised that it could be is that with my guide, after I publish changes it never goes through straight away. It usually takes a few hours for any changes I make to my guide to go through. Although as far as I know I'm the only one that has that issue (maybe due to the length of my guide)

When I try to add new content on my guide, save and publish it, it only gets updateed on my revision and not on the published version?
It would be nice if someone would help me out! :)
