I often get anxiety which may come as a surprise. There are a few things that help me to lower and even get rid of the nerves. Firstly I find listening to music to be very helpful in calming me and taking some of my attention rather than being completely focused on the game. Listen to music that you like or that you find calming because you will feel more relaxed. Another thing that helps a lot for me is duoing with a friend and talking to them because again it can take your mind off of what is worrying you and calm your nerves. Even if it's just talking on Skype to someone while you play, it can definitely help. Lastly I can say that you should just keep playing and it will get better as you play more. You will feel most nervous in your initial game or 2 but after that you should start to get more comfortable and confident and for me it completely goes away after a few games, so hopefully it can for you too :)
