I want to touch on this quickly. TSM had an incredibly poor composition to siege and force down towers with. 400 something range on urgot makes it almost impossible to just siege, and Viktor cannot really hit towers either because he'll just get nuked under the tower by Gragas.
That's why they constantly tried to deny vision in the enemy jungle and deny their buffs, take the dragons. Sieging would be very bad idea considering the gold difference wasn't that big and that would surely be their demise. They tried to win through rotations but that's where C9 pretty much excels and they got caught a couple of times in unfortunate positions in C9 jungle.
I would have to agree here. Kog was really the only person that was behind, and since he was staying alive and holding on his mid-late game was bound to kick in the longer C9 stalled it out, which they could do since they weren't that far behind

New and slightly improved version is still up to date >HERE!<
With how ahead they were they could pressure towers even with a ****ty siege composition and eventually even force fights.
lv 5 maokai vs rumble, rumble does absolutely nothing, maokai provides pick pressure
lvl 5 kog vs lvl 7 viktor, viktor has 2 cores which gives damage & waveclear
lvl 5 gragas vs lvl 5 reksai, relatively even but with how tsm was ahead is better for tsm
lvl 5/6 sivir vs lvl 5/6 urgot, urgot wins hard in poke and picks
lvl 4/5 naut vs lvl 4/5 thresh, relatively even but with how tsm was ahead is better for tsm in pick potential
you also have to note that the team that groups first has the advantage in making a play as the other team has to play reactively
literally EVERY member on tsm was stronger than c9 at that point, and with how ahead viktor was (along with his e waveclear) they could've pressured the towers via pokes and try to get a pick off, esp with urgot's eq and viktor eqr
you can't just look at the team composition as a whole and reach conclusions
tsm was too afraid of "losing their advantage" and ended up just conceding to taking a few jungle buffs when they could've taken the advantage further

What tsm should have done is got IWD after worlds and they would of had a good aggressive jungler. Now were stuck with Passive Santorin then we have Dyrus and Wild turtle who are past there prime only good enough for na.

When Viktor was 2 levels up on Kog, literally every member on TSM was stronger than their counterpart. All they had to do was group up mid and force towers and fights.
