top lane beginnings

Most laners can't catch up with you (especially if you have 3 points in movement masteries) and you can just get them low and zone them pre-6 or finish them post-6. It's hard to gank [[Vladimir]] because his decent escape and when people come to damage you it's all too easy to become invulnerable mid-burst. You then go on to build [[Ionian Boots of Lucidity]] with [[Enchantment: Alacrity]], [[Spirit Visage]]. If there are lots of burst champs that are taking you down too fast you get [[Abyssal Scepter]], otherwise go [[Thornmail]] first, and then [[Rabadon's Deathcap]]. With these 6 items you scale better than most other champs in the new tank meta. Your large health pool doesn't hurt either.[/quote]

If you play Morde you can win any lane matchup top lane, because he destroys everyone. If you like damage-oriented champs you'll like Morde for sure. If you follow a good build like I do, you can easily 1 shot a fully built tank. Also, you look really badass when you swing your club.[/quote]
