League of Legends (LoL) Question: Why does my game keep minimizing itself?

    Why does my game keep minimizing itself?

    Okay so i'm just randomly playing a game right? And then out of nowhere for no reason the game just minimizes itself and I find myself looking at my desktop while the game progresses and I have to click on the L again to resume. This happens so much and it really effects how good i'm doing and is making the game super un-fun to play. If anyone could help me that would be amazing. Because quite frankly if this can't be fixed, I most likely will just move on to Dota 2 or something.

    are you self casting spells with alt and you are holding the button down then you go to press tab to check the scores/items and you are still holding alt down?

    I've done this before like a dumbass but thankfully not during fights (who checks stats during a fight)

    I don't use alt, and the minimizing doesn't happen when i'm checking the scoreboard. It generally happens when i'm either running away, in a 1v1, engaging, and buying items. This happens randomly every time and doesn't happen in some games, but does in others.

    If you used LolWiz that also can cause problems.
    I got rid of it because how it behaved.

    It's probably due to other software drawing focus while you play. This happens to me whenever I'm in Skype and someone calls/ends a call (I think it can be disabled if you're busy). Maybe is something running in the background, or maybe you're just playing with other stuff on at the same time. In either case, try disabling stuff and see if it stops (antiviruses and windows notifications can be the reason).

    EDIT: Oh, you can also ask LoL support (I think it's support.leagueoflegends or something like that).

    I don't see the problem, that's pretty much everything I use in my pc :P

    Resetting my computer fixed the problem entirely. But now i'm stuck with this empty computer with nothing but league and Google chrome on it ;_;

    You should try to remember when it started happening, if you installed something, or if it was gradual. That way you might find a reason. I doubt it was because of a patch, but if it was after a patch that would mean calling support is your best option.

    I've decided to factory reset my computer, we will see if that fixes the problem, I didn't have much beside league on this computer anyways. I'll get back to you guys if it fixes the problem
