Ugh, I had a long and detailed post about my five games as
Kindred written up, and then my computer froze and I lost it all. So, instead of retyping everything, I'll give the shorter version:
1. I like
Kindred a lot. I can see maining her, but she definitely requires some skill to play.
2. The Wolf targets the scuttle crabs in the river and the four minor camps in the *enemy* jungle, so like with
Bard, you're forced to run into the enemy jungle to power up. Enemies can thwart you by either killing the camp themselves or warding the camp and jumping you when you show up to attack the camp.
3. My two top lane
Kindred games were terrible.
Riven and
Pantheon utterly destroyed me.
Kindred has a short range, so every time I tried to shoot at a minion, they'd jump me, stun me, combo me, and get out. Their shields and blocks ensured that my return damage was mitigated. Also, being top made it hard for me to reach enemy jungle camps in the bottom half of the map for me to farm up my passive.
4. My one mid lane game went much better than my top games, because I could reach enemy jungle camps more easily and get back to lane more quickly.
5. I originally used an adc build that focused on attack speed, armor penetration, and CDR. However, because
Kindred has such a short range, she was vulnerable to being cc'd and destroyed before she could retaliate or throw down her ult. I'm thinking that a bruiser style sheen-proc build might be better. With her Q coming up every 2 seconds while in the W zone, a
Trinity Force could be really strong on her.

So you only played
Kindred top and mid? Why not, you know, play the role(s) the champion was designed for? :P
edit: actually, you mention having played five games in total, of which two were top and one mid. I guess you jungled a few as well then?
