Hmm, I think I'd go with Syndra. Used to be a really strong pick last season, now she's not all that great compared to a lot of other mid laners out there right now :(

Old Gangplank. Oh wait, he's not out of meta, he's out of the game.

On a serious note, AP or Full Crit Corki and Magic pen Vel'Koz are pretty fun, and I love AD CDR Bruiser LeBlanc top lane. My favourite champion he's pretty much out of meta now is Hecarim (his pick rate's so low) but I take him into the jungle instead of top lane.

Sometimes i like to play quinn bot when they pick a master yi in jungle.. or shen top because of his cc and tanking abilities.
