Dude a woman approached me and her cart had like 15 "Five Alive" juices in it and asked me if there was more in the back of the store (I said no) and then she started ranting at me for not having at least 50 (YES 50) in stock because now she has to go to multiple stores to get the quantity she desires (I think she said she wanted 45) and I was just like "Oui madame" (Quebec) every time she said something until she left. Like wtf do you want me to do I'm just here to push carts and clean things up and stuff. And WTF why do you need 45 of that specific juice? That's a bit unreasonable for us to have on the shelves, it's not our fault you want ****ing 45 of them /endrant
I work at a small town feed store and I always love when people don't understand basic econ. People whine about our hay prices because they can go buy it at Farmer X's field for 4$ cheaper. Buuuuuuuut... I have to explain that here, we had to squeeze the hay onto our truck, use fuel to transport it to our store, squeeze it off the truck, I am loading it for you (as opposed to you loading yourself in Farmer X's field), and we still have to make something off of it after paying for all of those things. The funnier thing is I tell this whole thing to the same 5 people every few months when they come back to us for hay. People. lelz

^ this actually happens to me (I work at a grocery store) and I usually just pretend to agree and ignore them. Once a guy said that the stop sign on the street next to our parking lot was wrong and that I had to go change it (wtf) and I just said something like "oh thankso for telling me ill get right to it" and just kept doing what I was doing
Haha I work at a grocery store to fund college as well. Some people tell me stuff is ridiculously overpriced and I say the exact same thing as you do. Apparently minimum wage workers are in charge of the pricing of products now. Who would've known?
