spent most of the day theorycrafting with challenger/collegiate team about changes... but dont have enough info to change much yet. ill probably need about a week, and it'll be tentative as well. i have an essay to do so i havent been able to play much, but i plan to go hard this weekend.

I'll give some of my thoughts on the preseason patch right now.
Jungle: auto attack junglers are a lot better, caster oriented junglers feel a bit gimped. machete 3 pot is really good. refillable and hunters potion is garbage. talisman is ok. debating whether or not to still build sightstone, though im leaning towards no. tanks clear fine as well and seem relatively unchanged for the most part. eve elise are still pretty decent. trackers is solid. herald is really easy with at least 1 tank, bit harder if both are squishy. auto attack based champs also do herald a lot easier. 3 camps + scuttle is still a fine route, although full clear to buy your empowered smite is definitely viable too if you have the sustain for it.
ADC: definitely stronger but dont seem super overpowering like some people are making them out to be, although it might just be because nobody knows the proper itemization yet. they have a lot of new tricks and toys, but they are still squishy as **** with the exception of graves. kinda weird to see essence reaver so much now lOl. (item is good though) the biggest difference is that they have a lot more options now.
Top: champions that new or reworked items geared towards auto attackers got a pretty good buff. tanky top laners took a sizable nerf, as did APs. AP tops are still going to be fine imo, just weaker. teleport seems to still be pretty much mandatory, although doing a camp at lvl 1 probably isnt worth it anymore.
Mid: AP champs pretty nerfed across the board due to item changes but still seem pretty fine tbh. Talon/zed and the like are still pretty bad. Some ADCs seem promising in the mid lane. Teleport on mid doesn't seem worth it anymore except on a select few champs.
Support: pretty unchanged. you still rush sightstone and red trinket. itemization is pretty much the same as well with the exception of the sightstone upgrades.
General changes: Extremely dislike the trinket and vision changes. They feel forced and unnecessary. Game also feels wayy too snowbally. I understand that was the intention, but it seems a bit overkill, since defending against baron is already such a struggle. Rift herald was a good addition, tp nerf was a good call, item and mastery changes feel great, but this level of snowballing is just too much.
I'll hold off on updating the list though, I don't have enough information yet. If you have any questions about specific champions though, go ahead and ask.
also - I'll be writing a guide this season, and I'll try to get it out early so it actually helps people X_X. Every time I want to write a guide its near the end of the season l m a o.

Ziggs for viable jungle
Let us not forget the other characters that need 150% mana regen to clear, like Talon and Diana.

Basically MOBAFire.
It was a joke, jungle
Nasus hasn't been any good in quite a long while.
