I really didn't understand what he was saying. I said like "what are you" after he said something like "filthy white" and he said "im white"

why aren't people playing corki much again?

As an ADC, he seems ****ing garbage to me. It's AD Carry, not 55% Magic Damage Carry.

Just because he does more magic than physical damage doesn't mean he is a bad adc. He still builds AD (attack damage) and still carries (carry).
Now what i will say though is that he falls off harder in theory. He is hard to itemize against early because your damage is split so much, build armor, he does a ton of magic damage to you anyway, build mr, he auto's you to death. Great for early and mid game. Come late game where people have armor and mr corki now has to devote 2 item slots to pen (or just hope that one slot is enough)
In practice however (or at least off the stats of that game) he already did that before the rework, and now after it, with so much more magic damage in his kit (autos/e are half and half) he is dealing much more magic damage than physical so actually i think last whisper would be a waste, when you need pen just get void staff. The problem with this is that now he has a slot taking up pen without offering ad. He does scale with ap but only in spells and tbh not enough to make that ap a good thing. (q scales the same as ad, means ap is more cost effective for q damage, ult is 80% ad vs 30% ap, valk scales but why use that to go in, super valk is 150% ad vs 20% ap, Gatling gun is just ad)
I think as far as early/mid game corki is still as strong as ever, possibly stronger, but late game he may or may not fall off harder.

Well, first, building AD doesn't make him an ADC. If he's played at all, I think he should be mid-lane, and nowhere else. Additionally, the simple fact he does more magic damage than physical makes him impossible to itemise for; Last Whisper is cute, but do you really want it if most of your damage is magical? But then again, Void Staff? Not really. All AD items are less effective on him than they are on every other champion, excluding his actual scalings. So no, I think he's really, really bad as an ADC right now – not counting the obvious maximum Cheddar strategies.

The point is, you think it'd work like that, but that's not the case, which is why hybrid champions have never really seen competitive play outside of Season 1. Full hybrid is bad, because League doesn't offer proper itemisation for it; see the earlier Last Whisper and Void Staff argument. Additionally, the worst part of it is the fact that his AA only do 55% physical damage, which is honestly really bad, especially in the early-game because champions have higher base mres than armour.
On top of all this, Triforce received a solid nerf; yes, the CDR is nice, but overall it's a nerf. And, crit chance got buffed, but Corki (still) does not make use of crit chance, so what's the point?

Now you're pointing out one of the biggest problems he has, and yes, before his unnecessary rework he faced the same issues, but it was a better thing because his magic damage allowed him to be extremely strong when ahead whilst still remaining relevant late-game due to his autos. Also, the super Valk is cute, but no one uses this for the damage, and the regular Valk got a serious nerf.

His early-game is weaker, if not worse, and his mid-game is definitely not better. His late-game is absolute garbage as an ADC and I don't see him recovering any time soon unless Riot gets their act together and figure out what they really want

On top of all this, even if

First off, Last Whisper sucks. Unless the other team has really fat tanks, and you're actually dealing lots of phys damage to them, you shouldn't get it.
Unfortunately corki doesn't have access to flat magic pen nor hybrid pen, so yeah, penetration is a weak point on him. Fortunately, his E gives stacking hybrid pen (even though it's not reliable and short range).
Corki didn't get hit too hard with the nerfs to LW, and his newly acquired hybrid pen is certainly good. He has the same problems as always but then again, he always had those problems and even then he worked just fine...

Enemies are always getting armour unless they're garbage, so yeah,

E got nerfed. Yes, I know it was to accommodate for his new, garbage, passive, but it's really **** now.

It's not LW, it's his passive changing 50% of his total AA damage to magic damage, which means that LW isn't cost-efficient anymore. The E doesn't do enough and is flat decrease, which is only really solid in the early-game, except that you'd never, ever max it over Q.

Last wisper was nerfed heavily. Corki, being around or over 50% magic damage, isn't hit too hard by it, since % magic penetration is still % total penetration. Unfortunately, as you said, he doesn't scale too well from void staff, but at least he has access to %total resistance reduction, which might be a defining factor of the upcoming meta.
