not really. Whether you like having kids or not, they will take up pretty much all of your time and energy and you can't really go out and do fun stuff in the evening if you have kids. What nameless is saying is that she wants to have a couple of years of the fun stuff before considering kids.

Both partners should be ready in all aspects when they are planning to have children. Just loose that baggage bit by bit, and you're one step ahead! But, I'm just not going to dig deeper to the topic. Only you, Sig Lady and GIF Guy (yeah, I'll call you by both by those names from now on) can decide when to.
