I have some criticism about the build guide.

First off, Vision Ward needs to be replaced by Control Ward. Not only could that be confusing to new players, but it also makes your guide look very outdated.

I'm a bit confused why you're including Ruby Sightstone as core. Is it for the Redemption/Locket CDR? If you finish the Nomad's Medallion, the convention is to upgrade it to Eye of the Oasis (unless you were going for Talisman of Ascension, which your cheatsheet says you aren't). Going for the cheaper, more efficient upgrade (versus Ruby) ensures you'll have the extra ward coverage without delaying your other major items.

Warmog's Armor rush is interesting I guess. I still don't think it's optimal since you gain healing power from Redemption and Ardent Censer. At the very least I'd expect a normal support build alongside your greedier warmog's build.

I'm pretty sure Zeke's Convergence is absolutely awful on Soraka given that you don't want to be anywhere close to enemies. It's not even built much on the melee supports that could actually use it because other items are more important.

It looks like you don't offer Heal as an option for summoners. Given that this hasn't been updated since August I suppose that's understandable. I would say it's certainly a good option if your ADC is willing to pick up Barrier.

Btw there's a mistake in your runes section, mana regen glyph icon isn't showing. Now that I've scrolled down, I might as well keep going I guess.

Unfortunately you also need to change Salvation to Salvation because of the Ornn item. Just use [[wiki=ability salvation]] / [[ability salvation]] / [[salvation ability]] and for icons use [icon=ability salvation].

Skill order in the guide doesn't match the cheatsheet. Cheatsheet shows R>W>E>Q and guide shows R>W>Q>E. I don't play enough Soraka to know what the best max order is but you gotta at least be consistent. :P

Vision Ward needs to be replaced throughout the guide it seems. Really looks outdated with those there instead of Control Wards. :/

An icon for Ionian Boots of Lucidity is broken. Looks like you just put in [icon=boots of lucidity].

Skimmed the rest of the guide and didn't notice anything obviously wrong other than more references to Vision Wards. Maybe reevaluate Ardent Censer in light of the recent nerf. Redemption might come back as a first-rush item instead, not sure. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hope you find this helpful, good luck in your updates.

I am actually a Twitch main and one game accidentally picked Soraka to play with, with absolutely no idea about her powers. Your guide has helped me alot, and now Soraka is pretty much my second main <3 Thank you for the excellent guide utopus :) Along with the item descriptions for maximum heal potential, I also like the extra effort you put into it with the tips for warding and overall gameplay strategy. Thanks once again :)

Thanks for reading my guide, @ CyberBully ! If your heart is set on rushing talisman of ascension first item, I recommend building Sightstone followed by Ardent Censer & Redemption in that order.

Haii, I mostly rush Talisman of Ascension as first item and then getting Sightstone. What I need to know is, should you upgrade Sightstone to Ruby Sightstone as next core item or is it better to get Ardent Censer/Redemption components?

I like the guide but there are a number of outdated references in here ( Vision Wards, Puncturing taunt instead of Frenzying Taunt). You also need to fix a few things like Salvation icons instead of Salvation, and you have a broken image of Ionian Boots of Lucidity since you're missing the Ionian part.

Hope to see this guide after a proofread + update, it's quite detailed! :)

Good points, Psi. Thanks!
I ought to re-do the BBCode for this guide; It's so difficult to catch all those minor mistakes.

I'll look to update this soon :)

nice guide man

one thing I hate is that for some reason certain champs can kill soraka pretty instantly even if u have 2000, 3000 or even 4000+ HP. its like HP does not exist for these champs. I build defensive items (including Warmog's), so expect to survive for some time, only to be killed by 900 dmg crits in 2 secs. tristana, orianna and vayne are on top of my op list right now. diana too, can deal about 2000 dmg in an instant .... not sure how any sort of counter-play is possible when enemy has op champs on their team with damage going through the roof

Thanks for checking out my guide!

Champions with catch potential pose the greatest threat to Soraka. While building defensively can give you some degree of protection against catch, positioning is really important. It's also something that I unfortunately don't know how to effectively teach in a guide, since positioning is entirely context based.

It's interesting that you list Tristana and Orianna in your comment though. While these champions have pretty high burst damage and can quickly dispatch Soraka, I think that champions like Twitch and Talon are threatening with their high mobility and pick potential

Pushed out a reasonably sized update for this guide - If you find anything amiss, please point it out! Thank you,

Instead of health regen runes I think movement speed quints are better.

Movement speed quints are quite good too! especially when you're in a lane that has high mobility, like lucian - nami.
