Yes I was very dissappointed in them turning off dynamic.
I entered my first game was was WTF --- luckily I have gotten my primary role in every game.
And in 4 consecutive games I was first pick.

I used to care about KDA, now I care about CS and Objectives.
I think falling below your actual elo is a great opportunity to boost mmr and tryout new stuff. People stress placements too much, I mean you have whole season to climb.

i am hearing a lot of stories about stupidly low ranks though. i always thought the average was 1200 elo which is around silver rank, so it doesn't make sense to me that so many ppl are dropping below that benchmark

I'm just going to wait until dynamic queue gets back, maybe even longer. Want/have to drastically change my roster first anyway, only comfortable champions right now are Poppy jungle, Blitzcrank (highly comfortable but not that great win rate) and a little bit of Lissandra top (rip Shen).
