I prefer AP, but AD is more honestly viable, you will find that it's different when u play him AP to others ap casters, it's like, am I suppose to be doing this? kind of thing.

i'll just sum it up,
AD = Q / R
AP = Q(
) W E (not 100% reliable) RThough is Attack Speed passive is very easy to max to 5 stacks via your insane spell spam. +75% attack speed on AD / armour pen / crit normals.
all in all AD is the "EZ mode" to a Viable/Safer Ezreal.
I play AD & AP, whatever the team needs. Both are good in the right hands, Ezreal is highly skill dependent and relies on a player with good skill to use him right either way.
Hybrid is too weak in both areas imo, not enough AD to penetrate armor, not enough AP to penetrate MR.

Haven't you noticed the changes to Katarina's ult? Both her Death Lotus and Bouncing Blades now scale with AP and AD.
