Computer upgrade Assistance

There's some issues with frames dropped in actual games, but those are exceptionally rarer. As for the specs, I'm running Windows 10 64 bit, 10 gigs of RAM, 3.10Ghz processor? That's the one I'm least sure about. Graphics card is less important because I'm not planning on upgrading that for a while. If there's anything I missed, please tell me. I'm not really sure what I'm doing here. :/[/quote]

I have the i5-6600k and it's stable for the most part it gets kinda iffy if I run too many programs at once while streaming though. If you're considering being a full time streamer I'd go for an i7-6600k. There are also newer intel cards out but I heard they aren't much of an improvement for gaming. If you're going for a 480 I'd wait for Ryzen to come out, but who knows how much those are gonna be priced at. btw... you should invest in a new monitor boy 1980x1080 monitors are pretty cheap...[/quote]

[quote=FatelBlade]As long as your power supply can handle a newer CPU, you should be able to pop one in, as long as it matches the socket type of your motherboard. From what I can tell, your mobo only support LGA1155, while newer cards are LGA1151 (such as the i5-6600k). If you upgrade to one that uses a different socket, I think you would also need a new motherboard.[/quote]
