A bit sad that Riot decided to nerf Caitlyn into the ground and butcher her like they did with Azir.

Thanks! :), I don't think is butchered too hard, definitely not like , its just other AD carries are currently stronger, she's still playable and I reckon that she will become meta again after worlds maybe

I've seen some people build diferent items on her.
Like lethality for the insane Q damage or a really weird on-hit build with mallet and BotRK. What are your opinions on that?

I haven't seen any weird builds apart from the lethality one and it was a build people were doing even when cait was strong, I personally reckon its more of just a fun build because if I'm not mistaken when you build lethality your ult will do an insane amount of damage. Overall the cait build in my guide is the strongest for ranked gameplay and climbing, the other builds are just fun things to try from time to time

Hello Epic Fail Guy!
After patch 7.9 Runaan's Hurricane's build path no longer consist of Recurve Bow so you might have to change the first item into Zeal instead of Recurve Bow.
BTW thank you for your guild it helped me a lot!

I wonder, why did you choose over ? Cait has enough sustain on her own and extra damage in bushes is pretty good on her.

is a very good mastery on any adc, I don't think she has enough sustained to the extent as to swap out for . I can see why can be useful as it synergizes well with her passive, but in lane, you won't be in the bush for enough time to make it that strong, as you are open to whatever the enemy bot lane want to throw at you as there aren't any minions protecting you.

Well, you could actually use GFG for some short-ranged or passive botlanes, I think. You could stay in bushes 24/7 and enjoy the extra damage. Isn't this true? :)

To be honest, is for junglers usually like Lee, Kha'zix, and for support mages like mostly, however Caitlyn using bushes as well as many brushy brushy champs, but players are not jungle monsters, so they will usually have high resistances and low hp compared to monsters which will end in something like 10 damage, meanwhile a magic penetration runed Karma can almost deal 100 damage with GFG against monsters to help jungler, but healing 50- may save many times in a match any adc, with runaan she will mostly have all possible assists and kills so she will be healed constantly if team is well in team fights, which can be critical IMO, but taking 18-0-12 for no, not in season 7 adcs I suppose.

At least almost every professional adc taking cunning tree for , I suppose ofc. because it's invaluable in many situations like if they have etc.

I guess, but the benefits of are still a lot more beneficial in the late game as it gives you a lot more of sustain

Hey Epic Fail Guy!
I recently used to finally get through my 4th or 5th plat promos in Flex Queue (arghhhh). The reason for it was that I found other AD Carries to be too weak and too dangerous to play early game (like ), so I swapped to for the awesome 650 range and to just rely on my team to keep me in the back line. You pointed this out really well in your Pros/Cons. The overall design of this guide is really enjoyable too!
I recently thought about going for or instead of too, although I found out that outweighs the other options mostly. does work with the Trap Headshots, doesn't it? This means if you have the empowered AA up, you have even more range on the Trap Headshot, right?

Thanks for your feedback! :). Regarding 's interaction with , the energized shot doesn't actually increase the range of your shot as the range is already longer than the energized shot range, but the energized shot damage is applied. This is what makes it so strong, the amount of damage you can do you if you headshot someone + crit them with the energized shot from is insane

Now that you say it, I didn't quite notice that does NOT increase the range on targets.

This image shows it quite well. Look at the largest critical strike at the bottom. 2,631 Damage! I really do feel like outweighs the other items ( and ) because of the utility it gives you.

Considering this, I would probably only buy if I had problems kiting enemy champions (fighters/tanks), right?

You could build a if you want to be able to kite quicker (as it gives more attack speed and you can get it quicker than as it is cheaper) and if the enemies have annoying assassins and you find yourself in a lot of 1vs1s and the passive can help out in those situations

But with new update, have a new unique passive I suppose, which increases energy shot recharge rate by 25%.

(Annoying 1vs1s like the classic Vayne build *sigh*)
The only problem I would have with is the lack of damage. Offcourse you have more attackspeed which means you can get more autoattacks out in a shorter amount of time, but if you rather rely on poking you would have a way better time with or even .
I think I should just test in my next game, I used to really like the item back in Season 5 and 6, where wasn't such a meta item.

I mean I used to go Stattik into IE and then into RFC and that would get me %100 crit (%110 actually). It's a very fun build but I don't think it's very useful xD

is selling your boots for static shiv super late really worth the lack of movement speed?

In my opinion it probably is, however, I would say that there are more useful items to build instead of a shiv, for example, B.T., Lord Doms, Ga and so on. This does depend on the game however and in some cases building a shiv would indeed be more useful.

Overall, I do think selling boots is worth it in the late because if your team peel enough and you position right, you won't need that extra movement speed
