It's incredible to play the lane from the beginning just farming and all you need is a Q and a stun support like brand, leona, xerath or with some group control variations like blits, fiddle even an ashe
I had success with the lane pashe asking my sup to farm with the atlas stacks and vice versa I recommend frizzing when possible if your team isn't killing each other in the mid it's complicated trying to flip the coin when you're advanced in the lane ult stacks I recommend using with caution
Ban morgana, ezreal, sivir or any character that has a dash
(proprize ban morgana)
When you can increase more of ~600 dmg WITH 100% SCALING, EVERY 6 SEC (with AH, it can go down to ~3.5-4 sec).
There are no bad match ups while using our Full Magic Pen Cho'Gath Build, only match ups that you still dont have enough experience against it, I am showing it to our countless games that we are playing with our Cho'God. The main objective in all the games is to focus on farming, while trying to poke the enemies down. Cho'Gath got something that most damage dealers dont, hp and mana from the passive while you are farming creeps, a tool that you can use to outsustain your laners while they are going to be with 30%-40% all the time after each trade!
To keep it short, focus on understanding the limits of your combos, this will lead to understanding when you can instant kill your enemies and when you need to run.
For example, if the enemy is with 40% hp, no matter what he is playing, a Full combo of Q-W-E-R and Ignite if you are playing with it, will 100% guarantee kill the enemy.
Remember, practice makes it better, we got easier champions build guides to master, like our Mordekaiser, Volibear, Tahm Kench etc. but as long as you master our Cho'God one you will be literally unstoppable, no matter what you will have against you, you will end up winning as easy as I am doing it.
The build is created with a way to always overpower the enemies, no matter how you will mess up early, as long as you try to fix your mistakes while playing, focus on farming and of course try to stay alive, you will sooner or later outdamage any other champion in this game!
(If you got a bad match up in mind for Cho, tell me to find it and put it on our guide as well)
Enjoy!
With just 400G, you get more than what Amplifying Tome gives with 435G.
The longer you hold it, the more benefit it will. You only sell them when you start building the fourth item (third if you don't count boots).
The 400-160=240 loss can easily be replaced with you being ahead 20 cs compare to the opponent laner.
This build is VERY GOOD when you facing a similar skill range opponent, or super ahead, either via matchup, or simply because you can punish your opponent mistakes easily. But not good towards super safe opponent, or when you are super behind, since it would delay your build. It's a golden rule to all MOBA games, and LoL is no exception: "Don't waste/left empty an item slot, there's always a chance it would improve your stats".
There's a reason that MF, Draven, Darius, ... and many more can abuse 3-6 Doran's Blade strats and then selling them later on when you start building a big item.
Enjoy.
I ALWAYS get stomped, always. It only gets good in the late game IF
IF
IF your team didn't lose as you.
Edit: the build is pretty good if you don't suck.
Just by having the R, even if you don't have the chance to use it, will always intimidate with fear of fighting you. By biting a minion as soon as it went up, you're giving your opponent info about your cd, and they'll ready to fight you ANYTIME. And a better opponent wont just notice that, but also click on your champ to see the amount of stack to roughly estimate did you use R recently (in case you bite a monster in jgl when not in their vision)
Items, skill order etc is behind the meta (current item build is questionable even for the purpose explained) and the playstyle you are recommending isn't helpful for longer term. You won't learn how to play top lane by standing still and spamming Q to get minions.
Also the "educational" videos for laning matchups are inaccurate because you are smurfing against people with lower skill level. Overall guide kinda lacks in-depth knowledge too.

The description plus the rank was from last season. I peaked Top 2 in the world from lolskill, Top 4 from op.gg and Top 1 from lolgraphs (or something like that dont remember the name), so its not just the "Top 3 in the world" but even higher :)
All my videos from this season are from the ranks Diamond 5 to Diamond 3.
Items, skill order and tips how to play are more accurate for "YOUR META" than ever :)
Also the "educational" match ups are shows what you need to do in all phases of the game. If you want the lane phase see the 0-10:00 if you want the mid game see the 10:00-25:00 if you want to see the late game go from 25:00
This build is always updated with every single change that these "patches" brings!
Also before we talk more, go and play it ONE SINGLE TIME and come again and tell me what i need to "explain" to you :)
To comment before you test it yourself wont make you improve.
Also every single one of my fans knows better than anyone if what im saying in this BUILD is helpful or not. And we were 100 people once i started this build and now we are 5000+
People reached their dream divisions quite easily, just by following what im saying in this "poor" explanation!
So if you want to do it too, follow my guide and my gamestyle and enjoy your free elo my friend.
And always remember our motto: Keep calm, relax and play!
I meant your guide doesn't give any general advice but rather you just post videos of smurfing where your top lane opponents don't understand how to play the matchup because they are lower elo so you end up doing whatever you want.
There is no lane control or lane knowledge in the videos and you don't explain anything in your guide so that's why I said you don't teach how to top lane at all. You are just recommending playing passive/brawling which can get you to a certain point at the game if you understand the lane matchup but for further goals you will hit a wall.
Or I guess the point I'm trying to make is you're just posting videos and saying l2p based on the video. They would be better off just learning from pro players.
Meta atm is stack HP items because Cho'gath hp ratios are busted. Many also get Righteous Glory so Cho'gath isn't reliant on landing Q which can be dodged easily.
Meta atm you get hp items so you get tanky, proc righteous glory and eat someone with your ultimate.
Even if you argue your item build is good - why is Warmog's last item when it's best to rush it for 100 more damage for ur ultimate.
Don't compere this build to random chogaths builds that just stack HP my friend and as i said once again read my guide, use my gamestyle, copy my exact RUNES-MASTERIES-ITEMS (and of course skill order) and enjoy your free WINS!
Also high plat is my elo? No my friend, i dont have actual elo to tell you the truth, i might even be silver or gold player and it isnt bothering me at all.
As long as i can make people win with my builds easily while enjoying the game is what is WORTH for me!
Thanks for commenting it was fun to see you type!
