I'm here to make a simple correction, though, regarding the match-up part in the tooltips. Control Wards do not reveal Akali since her rework, as her Twilight Shroud now provides Invisibility instead of Camouflage. This means that she can only be seen by True Sight or towers while inside the area.
I also defend that Akali is a super easy lane for Pantheon (to the point I consider it a Level 10 match-up for Akali), but that is naturally a matter of preference.
Thank you so much for this guide!
Thanks for the comment ^^ Now I feel like coming back to League.
I'd personally dodge a game if my mid picked pantheon

i basically build blue smite warrior, black cleaver and then deaths dance. everything after that is up to the pantheon to choose, but youmoos (or however you spell it) is not a good item for this build that im talking about. if you want to stomp lane this is good (not my build yours) but if you wanna stomp late game aswell these 3 core items i just told you for panth JUNG are very good. i found the solution to basically stoping the "only early and mid game panth".
As for your build, going Stalker's > BC is perfectly fine and works great. However, if you're feeling ballsy and really have the skill to snowball a game, Youmuu's is definitely the way to go as it gives you more utility.
Your last assessment is correct. This is a "early and mid game panth" build. You are not expected to go into late game at all and if that happens either you or your team failed miserably somewhere. You want to climb and you want to climb fast and the most reliable way to do so is to snowball your team and avalanche the enemy base.
Now...
Sure, you can ditch your team and split-push all game, but the only thing that's going to accomplish you as
EDIT: Just wanted to add that if you do reach late game, split-pushing is indeed the way to go, since you can afford to draw pressure to yourself and use your ultimate to 5vs4 the enemy team. It's just not an ideal mindset to go into a game as Pantheon. Your goal is not to split-push.
I have a question:
You review only 3 boots (Merc, Ninja and Lucidity) but what about
I found them great for Pantheon coz i have an opportunity to chase or escape during fight.
Two big things you made clear in your guide is that he falls off late game and consumes mana fast, meaning has to watch his mana. Because of this in my opinion he benefits greatly from items like
You do show some good defensive options, but again, in my opinion the items that also give mana and CDR are better for
I saw someone else say to do AD reds over Lethality reds. I disagree with that because Lethality is more useful than AD early game when you're going mid due to mid laners being squishy. Lethality is best against squishy champions.
Part 1: Mana Issues
Yes, Pantheon suffers from mana issues. What most people fail to realise is that mana items are not ideal, however (although they might seem good on paper). Forget about the "falls off late game" part for a moment, since we are not planning on ever reaching that stage. Pantheon is a champion that burns fast and furiously early game and your job is to feed that bloody fire long enough until it consumes the enemy team. You have to feed it items that enhance his abilities, stuff like Youmuu's, Black Cleaver, et cetera. IBG is a terrible item and will hinder your progress. You will devolve into a late game stun bot instead of a mid game wildfire. Mana is simply not good enough of a trade-off for devolving into a monkey. Carefully manage it and you'll be fine.
Part 2: Something Stronger Than
BC is core on Pantheon and no item can ever replace it. It is simply too good and your damage output won't be the same without it. It is not an auto-attack focused item, it works on abilities (which you'd have known if you had read my guide) like his
Part 3: Runes
This is irrelevant with the upcoming rune rework, but for now either Lethality or AD is fine. Whatever works best for you.
Thanks for the +1, it is always appreciated.
