I beleve they removed cloak of agility cause i cant find it on the item list, Might want to update it for that

You can dodge Zed's ult with a simple E,deathmark will still land but it will most likely make him miss all or most of his Q so it's useless if you time it right.

I have one question about steel tempest.
So, the lowest CD possible for it is 1.33 seconds, but the only time I get to that point (without buying berserkers) is at level 18, or with infernal dragons, so I am not certain if there's something that would help me to get 1.33 CD other than buying berserkers for my boots, and most times thats not much of an option, if there's something else I can do or get please let me know.

There's actually a disclaimer in the guide about this. I'm Not Arkadata or Yassuo or Tempest. I don't know the reasons they build what they build when they build odd items. I can speculate, but I can't say for sure. The builds I list for them are the builds I see them use most commonly on op.gg and various times when I pop in and watch them stream. I wish I could say more about their reasoning. I'm glad you like the guide. Good luck on the Rift.

Really impressive!

Very good guide: detailed, well written, nice lay-out, ...
I think I am going to bookmark this and every time I see a in one of my solo queue games I will send them this link.
This should be the standard guide anyone who wants to main has to go through!

If all players thought as much about how to play their champ as you put your thoughts into this build, solo queue would become a much nicer place! ^^

Saw your guide on featured, congrats.

Was just scrolling through and noticed the specific matchup details for Azir. As an Azir main, what you wrote was totally right. It was the only thing that caught my eye. Good job on that, most people don't even know how to go against Azir as Yasuo. I literally wrote the opposite on my guide saying "don't waste your Q or he'll bash your head in".

Other than that, your guide is SUPER organized.

Hi! Constructive criticism:

First of all: update your guide! Season 8 is here and you can get 10$ RP for it!

Comments about mid:

1. Death's dance is terrible, you can go to my reply on my own Yasuo guide to see the in-depht explanation.

2. Edge of night is extremely situational and doesnt give MR anymore, and 250 HP isnt worth an item slot. Lethality also isnt very efficient on Yasuo since it scales down as the game goes on if you only have one lethality item and you'll always get this item after your PD/IE/boots. Thats kinda too late.

3. You also max E, not Q. Yasuo mains have been going over this topic since his release and it's very clear, even more now that his E has an AD scaling. You NEED to reduce the cooldown before being able to E again on a target to maximise your outplay potential and to play around ranged champions, it also deals more damage than maxing Q. Maxing Q is against duellist, and you don't usually encounter those in the mid lane.

4. Also, you should be getting runic armor, not veteran's scar. runic armor will boost lifesteal effects on you, which is way better then +50 hp.

5. In the matchups, you say akali is a very easy matchup, i tend to agree but you should mention her level 6 powerspike, which is something to be feared.

6. You say aurelion sol is a hard matchup, that's simply not true when in lane, you can use the minion wave to get inside his passive and get a solid trade to then get out. you only need to fear when he gets his rylais, as his Q and GLP can be windwalled. just stick close to him and harasss and its ezpz.

7. Heimerdinger isnt a hard matchup too, you can constantly destroy his turrets by using your tornado Q or melee Q and windwalling, the CD for every turret stack is fairly long so you can actually use windwall frequently when you have good river vision.

8. Also, edge of night doesn't do anything against kennen, it will block the first shock of his R but the second shock will deal full damage then, so it doesnt matter.

9. For vlad you could atleast tell people to get executionners calling lol.

10. Also, they buffed blade of the ruined king back, so it's a good item once again lol.

Comments about top:

1. Same as above, death's dance is terrible.

2. Black cleaver is terrible on yasuo, jesus christ lol. Your ultimate will always be up to use with a ridiculously low cooldown of 38 seconds and it gives 50% bonus armor penetration, which is what you want against tanks, you dont need another 24%, a BoRK and the ultimate's 50% armor shred is enough, the stats are garbage too, you are getting 20% cdr which is useless on yasuo, since his Q scales down with atk speed and E is 0 sec. cd, and his R is already a super low CD, and it only gives 40 attack damage. If you get it for the combination of HP/AD, your go-to item should be Frozen Mallet, if your going for it for the HP/AD AND the Rage passive, Trinity Force should be your go-to.

3. NEVER get trinity force and black cleaver, that's an even bigger waste.

4. Same as above, max E. unless against a duellist, then max Q (which does happen more in the top lane).

5. Same as above, take runic armor, not veteran's scars.

6. You should add to get executionner's calling against illaoi. cuts down the healing from her tentacles.
actually just get executionners calling whenever your ennemy laner has a strong sustain, like hecarim (long W), nasus (passive), maokai (passive), olaf (W/passive synergy)m darius (Q), irelia (W), renekton (Q and empowered Q), yorick (grasp / kit synergy)

7. For riven a good tip is to do a fake all in, and when she answers with her ult, just E the hell away using minions, wait till her ultimate wears off, and then you can go for an actual all-in, in general in lane, E away from her Q's, and then come back while it's on cooldown

8. A tip against darius is to stick to him when he tries to Q, you can use your E to go inside the blade so you only take 35% damage and no passive stack, usually just dont take extended trades for him, and at level 6 never let him get 5 stacks or you are dead.

9. Against nasus and renekton, dont get baited by their ultimates lol.

Hey man, This guide was quite old and I made it based entirely off of my own routes in the game. I had gotten 4 or 5 pentas and thought that it was the best I could do. Since creating this guide originally I had learned a lot more. I've now revamped it. Build is better. Multiple sections were updated. Masteries are no longer an issue, though the reason I ran those masteries were that they were the same exact masteries that Yassuo was running when I originally made the guide. I copied his mastery page when I began maining , so that's what went into the guide. I also still max Q and always will because that's what Yassuo does ever since the E nerf, and watching him is how I learned. Either way is viable. Edge of night was put into the guide back when it still gave magic resist instead of health. All in all the guide was just outdated is all. It's now been fixed.
