personally I kinda like this build. I preffer going more of an AP oriented route, with rabaddon's and lichbane and such, but this build works really well too. Completely different way of playing him, and I guess it just all depends on your playstyle which you preffer. GJ man.

Cleanse is a great call on jax, unfortunately the build goes down hill from there. First off I'd take boots over armor any game: Boots allow you to empower+leap strike and then escape easily from slower champs, thus making you and excellent harasser and most likely get FB. On the other hand, a cloth armor will barely boost your survivability since early game its mainly about spell harassing. Even if there are AD champs, running will make you take less dmg when using Q.
The problem with the build is that you have 0 survivability: All the lifesteal in the world wont save you if you have no bonus magic resist. Think about mid game where you still have 48MR and try to dive in a team fight. While lifesteal may save you from AoE dmg, any decent caster can nuke your ***. Again, most champions on lol deal magic dmg, and, unlike many melees, you have no survival mechanism against nukes (the ult's active is not gonna do it late game). This does not mean you can't win, but you will certainly have a lot of trouble carrying in 5v5 unless you have very organized tanks and supports.
So I may suggest you get both a banshee's veil (after guinsoo's) and MR glyphs, you'll find that you can still put out insane dps while being and offtank.

No offense but, that last time I picked boots as a first item was when I was like level 10 lol. I have no problem doing plenty of W Q combos on people early game without the boots. And if your just diving straight into a fight or initiating on people then you're playing Jax incorrectly. You want hide off the side in the shadows, wait for your tank to intiate, then once the fight has started come in from the side and wreck everyone.

Watch me going, yea if you build Jax with more AP he most certainly will burst much harder. This is for more of a prolonged dps Jax with an overall well rounded ness about him in the areas of AP, AD, AS and LS. And thanks Gahzan I find it pretty fun.
