He is confused that you added so many runes, even though you had a reason for doing it he finds the guide less useful for himself, as a result. You will either have to stick to your guns, or modify your build to make them happy :) Consider the option of making your actual build be just the recommended version, with the standard number of runes, and then use the written guide to suggest your alternatives.
