That used to be pretty fun :D
Yeah I mean if they're already on top of your booty then you might wanna have barrier, whatever works best for you <3
I just play as Jerry (the mouse from Tom and Jerry) and always roll with exhaust and flash. I make sure they never get on my booty. It's really a cat and mouse game. Kinda like being an assassin, but instead of finding opportunities/moments to execute your enemies you dip in and out of situations to help your teammates with phat heals, silences and damage reductions.
I always say, whatever works best for you, roll with that. Forcing someone to play a certain playstyle doesn't work in their favour. It's just what I found myself working the best for me.
Have fun :D
How was Mordekaiser's room like, was it messy? Filled with metal band posters and electric guitars? Jokes aside XD Good job on escaping the Death Realm! He should've just went with Morellonomicon.. or Thornmail if your team was heavy on physical dmg.
All you gotta know is that the GW items apply 40% healing reduction. Both Chemtech Putrifier and Morellonomicon applies GW by dealing magic to the enemy champions, whilst Thornmail applies GW when champions auto attack the player with Thornmail.
All three of them can also increase the effect to 60%. For Chemtech Putrifier it's healing or shielding allies. For Morellonomicon they gotta be under 50% of their max hp. For Thornmail your enemies got to be immobilized.
There's not much you can do against anti-heal, it's a counter build item. Things you can do however is dodging abilities so that GW doesn't apply on you. That way atleast you still get full benefit out of the heals from landing Q's and using your R.
EDIT: As of patch 11.18 when using R, Grievous Wounds gets removed from all targets before applying the ultimate heal.
Hope that helps!
It'd be a blast hanging out with you <3

first off: This is a really amazing guide, well done!
I love how you focused on vision and map control because that's something many people either forget about or don't take serious enough. We've all had those games when your team tried to push but never reached or actually touched a turret because suddenly the enemies overwhelmed you and took objectives in return.
So it's really good that you tried to make clear that vision is definately a key to victory and adviced where to ward.
I just noticed that you did not mention counters. I mean, it's kinda obvious that champs like Brand, Lux or Blitz can counter Soraka easily. But you still advice to buy frostblade instead of coin, although I'd probably go for a more defensive option - but I'm guessing that comes down to one's liking. Anyway, I wondered if you could add possible counters and how to play against them even if they tend to be a large threat for Soraka and her ADC/team? :)
Thank you so much :D I appreciate the kind words <3
Yeah, I purposely didn't mention counters because I feel like if you learn how to play other champions you will know it's strengths and weaknesses, so you can apply the knowledge when you get into certain match ups (one champion it's strength is another champion's weakness). But yeah the champions you mention can be pretty annoying to play against, high damage and cc is just something you have to avoid as much as possible.
Frostfang is definitely stronger than Nomad's Medallion as of now, it also rewards you more if you stay active in lane (more poke/gold). Obviously in annoying/counter match ups it's going to be more difficult to proc your Tribute but it's not impossible. For example against hook champions as long as you stay behind enough minions you'll still be able to harass enemies with your Q. Also Frostfang contributes more mid-late game in teamfights than Nomad's Medallion. If you're really feeling uncomfortable in a match up then your second option would be Nomad's Medallion.
As for how to play against certain champions and things to be aware off, I mean are you struggling against certain champions/counters? I also try to stream daily on https://www.twitch.tv/swelteringmuffin feel free to tune in I can go over some match ups on there aswell for you if you want :3
Let me know and I'll give some more tips!

thank you for your reply.
I think it all comes down to one's liking by choosing either Frostfang or Coin. But I have to admit that I haven't played Soraka with Frostfang after the latest adjustments for it.
No thanks for the option but I just thought that it's somewhat missing in your guide. But it's not some kind of must-have, I assume.
Again, thank you for the guide and your lenghy and quick reply. :]
