Hey there, I love your guide first of all but I have quite a few questions generally on runes, builds and such.

First of all for summoner spells, is it viable in your opinion to go Flashless and only go with and as has many jumps and dashes to get outta situations, I Understand it may be like where after she uses her Ferromancy she's kinda dead besides 's E. Also I saw Hylissang use it and questioned it.

Secondly, is there a secondary tree support can use. Like for example would and work with a Build or a Build. Or would it be better to stick to or .

To your first question, yes it's possible, but highly matchup dependent. Facing something that can cancel your dashes like with his fling or even any CC champion makes it way harder to play without . Also you weaken your own 'all-in'-engages like + or other combinations.

You name it. If you want to use or you can take them, but you'll definetly have a weaker lane than with or runes. It doesn't really matter for the whole game and just depends on your own liking, but aswell as have the most useful and also the best laning siderunes.

That's a pretty helpful guide. I liked it a lot like others.

you really spent a lot of time and effort on this guide, and it's one of the best I've seen on Mobafire.

I like your guide quite a bit but I think you go wayyy too in depth, to put it nicely, with items and not enough with abilities. You don't need to list Rylai's, Nashor's, Morello, Archangels, Hextech etc these are horrendous items on Rakan/support and there is 0 games where you would buy them. Not just these items, but these were the most jarring examples at first glance. I'd just remove them and trim to the core + USEFUL/viable alternatives and nothing else at all. If I were a new player and I see these in the guide I'd be really confused and might build them thinking they're ok. If I were a veteran player. and I am, and I saw this, I'd click off your guide immediately.

And yeah like I said I think 1 to 2 sentences for the abilities is not enough. Although you go in depth later with combos and gameplay but someone might just click on the guide to learn about the abilities and read nothing else which is why you want to have a nice abilities chapter with the most important info on the abilities and how to use them.

Even if those are horrendous items I listed them so people won't ask. Even if the explanation of an items says it's a bad choice and you shouldn't buy it it's still an explanation. Therefore I try to prevent people from buying or testing other items with giving them not only explanations of what they should buy but also of what they shouldn't. At least of the items with stats that seem viable even if the passives/actives are garbage. This is also the reason I colored their names from good choice over situational to not recommended. I can understand that it could be confusing to people if they don't read carefully, but on the other hand people that read as far as to the item section or read at least the introductory sentence of the section most-likely understand it imo.

Also, sure I can expand the explanation and data of the abilities section. :3
As it's one of the first parts I made in the guide I put probably way more focus in the item and rune section.

Just another thing I'd like to add, I'm also going to add the whole rune section for domination runes, just because my testing with midlane resulted in as the best choice. Even if I write a lot about stuff which may seem redundant for you it's meant as an explanation and prevention of why people should not use this and that.

I disagree that that's necessary but I respect your decision as a guide writer. Maybe you could separate the items into Good / Situational / Not recommended (with dividers and headers between) though as opposed to having them all mix matched in one portion of the guide?

Excuse me for the late reply. Finally found time to update it as you suggested!

I updated the abilities chapter with more detailed information, some suggestions and things that can help people using them.

I also added a new chapter called "Don't Do It" with the "no-go" items. But I prefer to let the items in a list mixed with good and situational as it's orderly from A-Z so items are easier to find for readers, Sure they can CTRL+F to search for specific items but not everyone knows that and some situational items are very good, but just situational. Hope you understand my decision and are happy with the result now :)
