Is sunfire cape any good on morde?

I used to recommend it but its not that good I realized. If morde is going a tank item its better give cdr or a rlly useful stat like anti heal from thornmail. Theres a new sunfire on pbe that can be viable on morde tho

can we swap zhonyas for liandrys in the attack speed build? and also swap lethal tempo for conq?

I like lethal tempo when going atk spd builds on morde, with that said soon there will be 64 new items and items reworks hitting in the preseason thats when i will update the build sections properly.

I take resolve as my secondary runes. Boneplating and demolish. Is this good or no?

Its alright if you wanna go for a tanky splitpush build otherwise atleast get the domination healing runes or bone plating + revitalize

Ohhh. I just don't really know what the get for the second rune after bone plating, so I just take demolish. revitalize it is.

Haii, I started playing Mord these days, usually build tanky build but always get destroyed by enemies ADC, can you explain why?

ADC's are morde's biggest counter.. they can shred literally anything and are very good duelists. They can also kite him especially champs like ashe, kalista and vayne. Morde is still a juggernaut even though he was desgined to 1v1, his natural counters will always be adc's so long as hes a juggernaut.

Your guide is very good but Liandry or Rylai will be the first core item, thank you.

I'm also wondering this. The power spike from Haunting Guide is nice, but I also feel like without Rylai'a I fail to stick to the enemy enough for those early kills. Nothing as annoying as having someone in your realm and not being able to finish them off.

this guide is really good, but i want to ask why urgot is major, just fought urgot in plat elo and i destroyed him, well it's right that morde is quite weak early but if u dodge urgot's e he is quite easy to kill

I thank you very much for your time and effort put into this Guide, I was just wondering if you could possibly update the Match-up list, I just went up against Sett, and got destroyed, and I wish I could of known that before entering game and losing lane.

He spikes with haunting guise + lv6 and rylai liandrys continues being somewhat usefull in the late game due to his tankiness.

if you hit lv3 before the enemy then look for an aggresive all in and look to damage him well

what are your thoughts on shield bash revitalize? i feel like this combo works best with DD and gunblade for the extra healing alongside conqueror

It can work, however I would not recommend DD gunblade in ranked as gunblade leaves you squishy and DD does not give AP but if you find it fun then continue playing it

another question, isnt mordekaiser technically a draintank? considering his rune selection he doesnt have health like say a renekton or garen, but his healing with conq, ravenous and TOB plus hiss passive make him survive for a long time

Yes hes definitely a drain tank. Conq's healing can function as drain tanking as you heal any damage you take. Morde is one of the best drain tankers in the game due to conq

Hey, i've just started playing a bit of Mordekaiser, and using your guide, i love how thorough it is.
But i was wondering about the items. Around the interwebs, i often see people saying they build Hextech Gunblade, but i don't see a mention of it in your guide, so i was just wondering about the reason for that

Thanks, I would say gunblade is not viable on new morde.. I think its because you are looking at old guides where the old morde could be gunblade as he had AD scalings. New morde does not have AD scalings and it leaves him squishy.

I really like your guide, but I had some questions in regards to the runes.

Scorch is obviously very good, but an alternate be Waterwalking? Mordekaiser has a ton of mobility problems and I feel like Celerity + Waterwalking would mitigate this a bit.

Also, since Mordekaiser isn't really a tank (really an AP off tank) wouldn't the Domination secondary line be more suited for his kit? Taste of blood + Ravenous Hunter would synergize really well with the heals received from hextech gunblade.

Waterwalking could be a good rune if you are going mid lane and are going to roam, however in the top lane scorch is just a better option for that extra poke in laning phase. The taste of blood and ravenous hunter combo is good if you know you will stomp lane and will be rushing gunblade for that extra heal.
