nice guide it is really helpful. It covers all about evelyne and you said some general tips about jungling that helps to understand the big picture. Good job!

Ooooh, favoriting and saving this for when I eventually get Evelynn. I don't have access to her yet, but I love her design and concept, and I'd love to learn how to jungle anyway, so this guide is perfect! There's also a lot in here that is useful for jungling in general, which is super helpful, thank you!

Hope you enjoy her! She's a great champion to practice the assassin playstyle.

I'll try and add some common / dangerous matchups soon. Thanks for the suggestion. <3

Edit: Added a bunch of matchups & synergies to the cheatsheet.

Hi, Your guide helped me a lot, i just got a lot better on this champ,Nice Guide! but i got a question playing Nimbus Cloak instead of Absolute Focus is a viable option??

PsiGuard (1495) | April 13, 2020 6:13pm
It's viable, but I don't think Evelynn gets as much use out of the rune as other champions. If you want to run it it's good enough that it won't really cost you games or anything. Feel free to go with your gut.

What do you think about going Inspiration tree second, because Evelynn got insane burst anyway, so Absolute Focus and Gathering Storm seems unnecessary?

They're both basically scaling pages so either works fine. I tend to buy boots pretty early in the game so I'm not a fan of waiting up to 12 minutes for them. Damage only becomes redundant once you're already fed, so if you don't snowball super hard early, you'll make good use of the AP from the sorcery runes.

Made some changes to the build. I currently haven't found a great situation where Oblivion Orb and Morellonomicon really shine. Eve is not great at applying Grievous Wounds and it's generally best if one of your teammates builds it instead. Oblivion Orb also has a very narrow range of MR where it's not overkill with your other % and flat pen, but not outscaled by Void Staff. Building both can be good against higher MR targets, but you'd have to sacrifice a strong item like Mejai's Soulstealer for it which doesn't seem worth it.

I've also reorganized the early items to focus more on Mejai's Soulstealer as a standard rush item and Spellbinder as an alternative if you're behind. A lot of Evelynns currently rush Lich Bane, but I think the Spellbinder -> Lich Bane build path is better from behind since Spellbinder is pretty cheap and both items build out of cheap components. You can stack up Spellbinder's passive for one big burst of damage that you can use to get shutdowns or win a big team fight to get back into the game.

Great guide, but one thing..
i think the better skill order is Q - E - W.
instead of just saying it, i will explain.

E scond gives you enough damage to 1-shot people without ult or charm once you have lichbane,
however many people think W second is good (including u) but the W max is magic resist overkill most of the times and the extra range isnt nearly as usefull as you think it is.
The base charm duration on rank 1 w is also enough to get your entire combo off, so anything else is just unnecesarry.

Tell me ur though about it.

Foreveryone else its no flame and he is not "wrong" in his guide.

Personally I find E max to be pretty weak. You get 15 damage per rank with a basic cast, or 25 damage with an empowered cast. You get a total of 100 extra damage to your overall burst, assuming you use an empowered E and you're at least level 13. I don't feel like 100 magic damage (which will be mitigated more if you aren't shredding the target's MR with W) is really worth paying 4 skill points.

Compare that 100 magic damage to the 400 range, 4s cooldown, 10% MR shred and double charm duration from maxing W. Maxing W also gives you 200 more damage against monsters (not a huge deal but it's a nice bonus).

You can max E second and still perform fine, but I don't really feel it adds much kill potential. In most cases I either heavily overkill my targets or they have enough health and MR that I can't reliably one-shot them without W anyway. The edge cases of needing less than 100 damage to secure a kill don't seem equal to the benefits of the W range, duration, cooldown and shred.

Fentoniia wrote:

This is only half-true. You can get the majority of your damage off within 1 second, but you can't get all 4 Qs off plus empowered Lich Bane autoattacks in that period. A longer charm duration means you can get multiple Lich Bane procs off and, more importantly, your team can help you finish off whoever you're focusing.

In many cases I'll use W on an enemy frontliner/diver who tries to engage on my team so I can CC them once they've committed to fighting. In cases like that, the extra second of charm isn't wasted at all.
