I feel like its only right that to share this with you, as a fellow Shen player. I used a slightly modified version of your Shen Sustain build and practiced about 50 games with it. Using said build, I got my first ever pentakill--on Shen no less!!!

Holy **** that's an amazing score. Your build is super good for peeling and being a full utility super HP tank for your team. Approach Velocity/Frozen Mallet build is very good when you're doing a protect carry comp/peel/stick.

I love the idea of running approach velocity and building the frozen mallet but i was wondering when or in what order do you actually build it?

If I'm doing okay or quite well, I'll pick it up after my waveclear item such as Sunfire Cape. It's usually built 2nd or 3rd in my builds. If you ever catch me streaming on youtube, I often build and run this page to great success.

So I have to ask this because its my main role and I honestly do this. Do you think this build would work for jungle Shen? I know I used to run grasp on him in the jungle and it worked fairly well.

I'm not the greatest at jungling though if you would like my insight on it, I actually run something totally different for jungling. I run Predator Shen taking Ingenious Hunter (2nd rune is preference). I then build a bunch of active items (Tiamat, Randuin's, Locket, Predator, Zz'rot, Jungle Item) and call my build MMO Active Build Predator Jungler Shen LOL. The Ingenious hunter when stacked (easy to do as Shen) will reduce the CD on your active items to pretty low amounts which makes teamfighting/utility more useful.
