Your "Suggested Build" is exactly what I build most of my games, but I always wonder, what are the best first 2 items combo on Fiora. I've always built Hydra + old Essence Reaver, but with the extra cost, lower AD and no mana regen from Shojin I don't know if it's better than Trinity.
Could you please tell me why you prefer Trinity over Shojin as your second item?

is a great Core item and Fiora is a great Trinity user. Usually by the time you finish Trinity as your second item, you're around Lv14 meaning your Trinity Procs(Spellblade from ) will also be doing a lot of damage. The Passive Rage(As on ) On provides you with extra Movement Speed to stick to your target(This is why some Pros like to Rush after Tiamat). Both these Passives are very valuable in the Early-Mid Game. Let's also not Forget about the Extra 250 Mana Provides, which allows you to get through the Mid-Game where your Mana Costs are Big. All These things combined, The Utility offers is far too much to Pick over it as Core Item. Spear is also not as great of an item as you may think simply due to its cost. 3400g for a Worse Version of The Old ER is already bad. One of the main reason picks Spear is to Buff Up Her Team fighting. Team Fights usually start after you get your second item since Laning phase has become longer after the Preseason. SUMMARY: Get Second, is not a good Core Item due to its Cost to Utility Ratio.

I see, Trinity does provides better utility than Shojin, I also forgot about the sheen procs when comparing the damage between the two. Thanks for the detailed answer :D
