I see you have removed Garen from the "Extreme threats" zone and it no longer says "the hardest counter to Poppy". Why is that? Have you found a way to beat him?

I did actually yeah, or well, i found out that there is no way of really winning it if the garen is not dumb :^), but its not a lane where you cant do anything. you can just build the normal tank build of sunfire, merchs and cleaver and just win after 2 items, since most garen players get attackspeed boots + triforce now. With just the boots they are funerable to your dmg and you can actually punish them. mostly just with something as easy as pressing Q when they run at you with Q, with tier 2 boots you can actually outrun them.

Oh that's so cool, i'll leave Garen open and test the matchup. Do you usually ban Darius then?

i ban mordekaiser every single game, he kinda ruins the whole idea of being a warden that dives into people step up and peel back, since he can R your E enage xD adn at that point you just die to him in his death realm ^^ darius is ****ty but more manageable than mord since darius later on into the game just kinda doesnt do anything

Sadly I do not use item sets 😔 on the league client.

Guide is falling pretty out of date. With the changes to Conqueror, I doubt that rune is viable on top lane except on against very squishy counter-picked targets like Jax who you can burst down.

^^ the guide is indeed getting kinda outdated and i will be updating it when i have time, right now i got drafted for an ESL team so im kinda busy adjusting to playing more than just poppy. Conq is still fine on poppy and is maybe even better than before. You will scale way better into lategame but its only good against matchups where you go triforce. :)

Henlo, I wonder why you build spirit visage, where does she get heals from?

Grasp and passive healing but that is obv neglectable. it gives more hp than the adaptive helm + gives more overal sustain. i will always go adaptive when playing against champs who do dmg with the same spells; syndra, cassio, teemo, brand, zyra, etc.

I see that all you'r ranked build for poppy are extremely tanky. I use to go for more agressive ones with her, going trinity, black cleaver, hydra tita. That allows me to OS in stuns, to out trade many champions and keep a good splipushing with trinity for turrets. Does you think it would work at an highter ello (i'm actually silver, it does) ? Or is it a too greedy one ?

Poppy is a versatile champion that
can build a lot of builds. The tank build is best in d2 and above since poppy is played like a support in. Higher elos. In low elo so low dia and below you can still go fro the bruiser build because its just not bad. I sometimes go for a bruiser build when im fed or we already have 2 tanks. But i just prefer, the tank build over the bruiser build because of my playstyle ( frontline + peeling ) if you like to be an engage tool bruiser poppy is way better

Do you have any word regarding the constant conqueror nerfs we see? Is it still a viable choice against champs like garen as you described in the guide or should we just hurl it into the trash can?

currently i havnt tried it yet, but it doesnt seem to bright anymore since it triggers after your burst. early game your spells have a cd that is way to long and dont even get me started on the dmg other champs put out in the longer trades. im currently trying to climb to diamond so im only using Grasp. But for now i think conq is a no-no ( didnt actually test it )

Didn't you also used to have a rune set for jungle? If yes, what happened to it? If no, then I am a dumb poopy head that remembers like a noodle on drugs

i actually have a jgl poppy guide as well ;) with a item set but i think its kinda outdated i think rn its best to go predator with -> bluesmite/cinderhulk, randuins omen, righteous glory, deadmans/visage, merch threads and a gauntlet/warmogs

Hey there! I played a few games on Poppy with Aftershock.
It went pretty well and I wanted to know what you think of going Aftershock instead of Grasp :)

Aftershock is a great rune who gives so much tankyness when going all in; this is my problem: you have to go all in to do anything with it, when you have grasp you only have to throw a bluckler or just q aa to make a pretty nice trade. this statement is the same with electrocute as well and that is why i like grasp/aery/conquerer better on poppy.

i really like playing poppy and taking teleport is great still after nerf it is so much fcking OP, even if enemy takes ignite you will lead in farm and if you get first kill on top you will probably win lane cause you will get so much in lead, very nice guide great job.

For sure ^^ i always like to get him with my jgler and when he comes back again so he will be around level 3 while im 5/6 that is why i love playing tp ;)
