Yes, Lethal tempo is a viable option, along with press the attack and Conqueror.
However in this current meta, conqueror is recommended

First of Hunter's Talisman gives you no extra mana whereas Hunter's Machete gives you 35 bonus on hit damage which means you would have a healthier and faster clearing speed using Hunter's Machete, so you should be running out with mana first using Hunter's Talisman. Kindred is an adc which means he will benefit MUCH more from gaining extra on hit damage rather than gaining burn damage from abilities and attacks. Hunter's Talisman should only be used by champions that have AOE abilities as it would be much more efficient.
Personally, when I use Hunter's Machete I can clear my jungle 2-3 times without any problems before returning to base.
The general rule is:
Do I utilise basic attacks more than AoE abilities? Hunter's Machete if yes.
Do I utilise AoE abilities more than basic attacks? Hunter's Talisman if yes.

Why I choose Press the Attack over Conqueror is because I dish out much more damage, mostly even double than Conqueror. It is very fast to trigger with the attack speed, and has good early damage, and also exposes him to 8%-12% increased damage from ALL sources, including your laner. The lifesteal from Conqueror is minimal and is replaced with the life steal you get from Blade of the Ruined King & Kindreds passive.
However, this depends on the item build you are going for. If you are going for Enchantment: Warrior followed by a critical build, it is better to go for Conqueror & Ravenous Hunter for the life steal you won't have in your build.
The build in my guide is much more efficient with Press the Attack.
For the secondary tree, there is much more to go for than marks, I personally think there are more important objectives such as fast and efficient ganks which Relentless Hunter from the Domination tree will help a lot as the movement speed allows you to reach lanes much faster, this also helps you late game to quickly join a fight. The key to winning is ganking and getting your lanes ahead rather than focusing on river marks. Even if you go for the Sorcery tree, it will not help you at all if your laners don't have the advantage in lane, it is never a wise choice to contest scuttle while your laners are under their turret. Most of your marks will spawn in the enemies jungle anyways, so sorcery will be useless for that. However, Sudden Impact will be triggered a lot with Kindreds Q ability which will also give him more damage anywhere on the map, rather that only the river.

So overall I think its better to think about mid to late game rather than early scuttle crab by choosing the Sorcery tree which won't benefit you at all outside the river or late game. The scuttle crab will not be market anyways after you have got your 3rd marks which you can easily get from ganking market enemies.
The Domination tree gives you better ganking potential and faster joining of team fights with Relentless Hunter and more damage anywhere on the map with Sudden Impact which will be triggered a lot with Kindreds Q.
