I watched some of your vids and find it really helpful when u talk about the tips. Keep up the good work!

How do you play and itemize when the enemy team stacks tanks and HP heavy bruisers and mages?

Even going full damage or lethality you cannot dual any of them and my team can never seem to get any one low enough in the fight for me to ult and get resets.

Is it better to build tankier and try to CC as much as possible? Sometimes I feel useless against these matchups in mid to late game especially when my team is bad. All I can do is clear and ward and hook and stun and hope my team can do something.

Good sir. I would like to request from you an update to this guide for 2020. Love your content and would like to get your take on playing support pyke in 2020.

I've never seen Phantom Dancer on Pyke. It's good? (How bout for mid?)

Hello. This guide says it was updated for 9.23. However, considering the removal of the ultimate refund from presence of mind, don't you think taking domination secondary to pick up Sudden Impact and Ultimate Hunter is a better option?

How about going to buy relic shield for start item?
Of course, I think ancient coin is not bad.
But relic give more health and then sustain more in the early time instead of ancient coin.
It's just my thought. I'm waiting for your opinion. And also sorry for my poor grammmer.X<

Relic forces you to walk up and get traded on. Coin allows for picking up gold when its more optimal. Coin has early cdr and movement speed which relic does not and it benefits pyke greatly to have these. I also feel coin gets sightstone almost twice as fast as relic a lot of the time when you are forced to leave the lane.

This guide has been very helpful in helping me perfect my Pyke but I have a few questions which I hope you could answer:

1. In what situations, if any, would you buy Death's Dance?

2. Is Edge of night ever worth buying in certain match-ups?

3. What is the deal with Zhonya's Hourglass, is it for high burst match-ups?

Edge of Night is more for playing against engage champs on the enemy team, this way they cant cc you while you look for an opening hook to get your team into the fight. And zhonyas is an item i'll use against champs that are impossible to escape like Fizz, Camille and sometimes Zed R

I will buy deaths dances vs teams that are usually heavily AD, so my final build would look something like, Tier 3 support item, mobis, Ghostblade, Duskblade, GA, Daeths Dance. If they have burst mages instead, go for maw of malmortius instead of the deaths dance.
