Not gonna lie, the changes hit him hard and he is not so self peeling anymore.
However he seems to have a potential to shine harder in duo with jungler or flexq, because of the power of staff of flawing water in group stage.

Thanks for all the info been looking for a good top Taric guide and I really like the options, there is no one perfect build or 1 item that can counter everey mage toplaner.

Ive been thinking more about what u said recently. The truth is taric can rather specialise at any area than adapt to any situation.
For instance, its quite hard to beat mage on toplane, and be useful in teamfights. Taric can solve his weaknesses but he needs some gold to do that. Sometimes it is too much gold needed to keep up tho :c.
